They all hopped in the car and drove off.
All the way Dhruv was talking about his
dad and his achievements... How he got
so many awards for being the best
Neurologist in London..
And tying to avoid talking to Nandini about
anything. And in 25 minutes they reached
The Malhotra Mansion. As soon as he
entered the gate Navya opened her mouth
in an aww.
"Wow yeh Bahar se tou bilkul mahal lag
raha hai..." Navya said.
Nandini is lost in her thoughts what
happened...why did Manik not came to
pick her up...
Dhruv stopped the car right in from of the
entrance under the shade. They were two
gates for the mansion one from which
Dhruv entered and the other one on the
right side to go out.
They got out of the car and walked to the
entrance...and all the members of the
family...Nyonika. Vikram. Nani. Dadi.
Mukti. chacha. And Chachi were standing
there for the is just to welcome Nandini in
the house for the first time.
The mansion was decorated with red roses
and white orchids all over the places. And
the entrance was also decked up with a
garland of white and red flowers.
Nandini saw all the arrangements and felt
embarrassed. She took small steps to
cover the distance from the pavement to
the door. Nyonika was standing in the
front holding an arthi thaali in her hands.
As soon as Nandini came forward she
stopped her and did the aarthi for her and
put the Tikal on her fore head. When she's
done she passed on the thaali to one of
the servant. Nandini bend down to take
her blessings but Nyonika stopped her in
the midway and pulled her in a hug.
"Welcome to your new house... And I said
na ki betiyon ki jagah dil mein hoti hai..
So,next time always gale lagna...ok..."
She was telling her with so much of love
in her eyes.
She went to all,the family members to
greet and every body gave a warm hug to
her... Giving lots of blessings.
They walked inside the house.
Mukti saw Abhimanyu has also came.
Anant greeted him and called him in the
study to discuss something regarding their
profession. Mukti's felt his gaze on her
before he left with Anant. She felt that
there's something in it which she cannot
pinpoint.
Nandini was not at all interested in
looking at the house that how well
furnished and well decorated the house is.
But Navya is observing each and every
corner of the house. Cabir came from the
kitchen and winked at her. She blushed
looking here and there. He came near her
and offered her some fruits which he is
holding in his hands. She grabbed few
grapes from the bowl and they started
chitchatting about random things.
Nandini was standing there but her eyes
were searching for only one person... That
is her Prince Charming Manik who is no
where to be seen.
"Bhabs aapki aankhein jisse dhoond rahi
hai na... Woh apne room mein Aaraam kar
rahe hain... Kyun ki unki tabiyat theek
Nahi hai..."Mukti opened the suspense
which makes Nandini shy in front of
everybody.
"Haan beta... Yesterday he came late and
today in the morning when I went to wake
him up he was having fever... But don't
worry he'll be fine... Usko rest ki
zaroorath hai... Jab se London se Aaya hai
apni health ka bilkul bhi khayaal Nahi hai
usse... Doctor said he is just exhausted...
That's all... tum bilkul fikar maaf karo..."
Nyonika explained every thing.
Nandini was standing there like a statue
not knowing what to do. Right now she
just wants to run to him and take him in
her arms and hug him tight.
She was trying very hard to stop her tears
from falling. Dhruv came by the side of
Nandini.
"I'm sorry Nandini... I have to lie... Manik
ne mujhe warn kiya tha... So I'm really
sorry..." Dhruv apologized feeling guilty...
"Nandini beta kuch khalo pehle..." Nyonika
asked her.
"Actually mom nikalne se pehle hi hum log
breakfast karke nikle... Can I eat later..."
She very softly asked.
"Of course why not... Jab tak tum ghar
dekh aao...Mukti Nandini Ko ghar ka tour
karao..."
She said to Mukti.

Nandini sighed. At last... She just wants
to meet Manik at the moment. As they
walked to take the tour of the house
Nandini turned to Mukti.
"Mukti...Woh..." Nandini was hesitant to
ask her about Manik.
"Aapko kuch kehna ki zaroorath Nahi hai
Bhabs... I know how desperate you are...
Coz there's one more person who is
waiting desperately for you... Bhai tumse
sach mein bahut pyaar Karne laga hai..."
Mukti stopped her and gave the
information.
"You know jab Woh tumhe pick Karne ke
liye ready hone waala tha na Dadi ne Inhe
Rok diya... So he didn't came... And this
time I agreed with Dadi... Coz you know
what he is becoming very ignorant about
his health..." They climb the stairs and
went to the back side of the house where
there is a separate section with a sitting
area like a lobby with a sofa set and a
decorative center piece. On the side was a
big door that is closed.
"This is Bhai's room... Jo aapka bhi hone
waala hai... You know something... Before
going in there let me tell you that this
room is all the way at the back of the
house...coz bhai likes his privacy a lot...
And as he is a musician his room is sound
proof... He some times play his guitar in
his room itself... " Mukti described almost
everything about the room.
"I won't keep you waiting more you can go
ahead..." Mukti told her.
"Me... Alone... Tum bhi chalo na..."
Nandini all of a sudden got scared of going
in alone.
Mukti laughed at her innocence.
"Bhabs why are you scared Woh kha Nahi
jaayenge aapko...jaayiye maybe Woh so
rahe honge... Because of the
medicine.."saying this Mukti went away.
Nandini start walking taking very slow
steps. Holding the handle she opened the
door very slowly and entered the room
with her heart beating in a jet speed. She
didn't know what to expect once she
entered.
As soon as She entered the room someone
grabbed her from her elbows and dragged
her to the wall next to the door closing it
with the foot. And pinned her hands to the
walls he smashed his lips on to hers for a
soul searing kiss. It took a moment for her
to figure out who it is. But when she
realized who it is she went with the flow
and surrendered herself to him. He was
kissing her like crazies not letting her
breath.. She moaned in his mouth which
makes him more vulnerable makes more
harder for him to leave her. She was
loosing her balance as she is feeling no
strength in her knees. He felt her loosing
her balance so he left her hands and her
lips very slowly he grabbed her waist and
lift her in his arms and gave her a bone
crushing hug.
Nandini was recovering her breath and
slide her arms around his neck and
responded to the hug.
They stood like that for a while. Than
Nandini felt his body is a little warm being
this closed to her.
"Manik..." She whispered in his ears...
It always gives a soothing feel when she
takes his name.
"Hmmm..." He whispered back.
"Mujhe neeche utariye na...please.." She
pleaded holding him right.
"You want to get down... Really... Phir
itna tight kyun pakdi ho mujhe..." He said
in a softer tone.
She loosens her grip and he puts her
down. She looked at him with some tears
forming at the corner of her eyes.
" please don't start crying... Main already
bahut sun chuka hoon sab se... I don't
want to hear any more..." He was a little
irritated.
He walked and sat on his bed with the
help of the head set spreading his legs on
the bed.
She too walked and stood beside his bed
and was just looking at him without saying
anything.
" Nandini please yeh silent treatment tou
mutt do na mujhe..." Saying that he
grabbed her wrist and pulled her in his lap.
She put her head and after few minutes he
felt his T-shirt is getting wet. He lift her
face to him and saw tears were flowing
from her eyes without making any noise.
"Mujhe Kuch nahi hua hai... Tum ro kyun
rahi ho... Please don't cry..." Manik said
to her hugging her back.
He was relaxing sitting with the help of his
bed head-board. She was keeping her head
on his chest holding him... And Sobbing.
"Agar Tum cry karogi to main medicine
nahi kahunga..." Again he put
the Condition trying to wipe off her tears.
"It's just a regular fever.. Nothing more...
Main almost theek ho Gaya hoon...
Dekho..." He took her hand and put it on
her head and neck to make her feel the
temperature. It was just a little warm.
"See I told you naa... I'll be fine... Ab
please Rona band kardo..." He wipes her
tears with his fingers.
" Waise you know. Jab Dadi be kaha ki...
Can't go to,pick you up... Mujhe bahut
ghussa Aaya but Maine soncha ki main
tumhe surprise doonga yahan aane par...
Tou batao kaisa laga mera surprise.." He
was mischievously smiling.
She turned red thinking about the incident
happened a few moments ago.
"Waise tum Aise blush karti hona to dil
chahta hai ki main tumhe bas kha
jaaon..." Manik took her in his embrace
and hugged her tight.
She too grabbed him from his back holing
him tight.
"Kuch bolo na..." Said in Avery husky tone.
"Jab aap Nahi aaye na mujhe pick Karne
tou mujhe yakin hi Nahi hua... And I felt
that there's definitely something wrong...
Kyun ki you said that you gonna come...
Dhruv ne bhi Kuch Nahi bataya... " she
paused and again digging herself in his
chest more she continued
" I was feeling so restless... Bas main
aapse milna chahti thi and make sure
Karna chahti thi ki that you are fine..."
" me too main bhi tumhe dekhna chahta
tha... I wanted to hold you in my arms...
And feel you and waited so long... Pata
hai I just can't live without you
anymore...Kya aisa Nahi ho sakta ki aaj hi

jaao..." He held her arms and moved her
and asked very excitedly.
" agar aap apni health Ko for granted lenge
tou I don't know ke Kya hoga..." She was
serious.
"I told you yesterday ki you cannot bhi
ignorant about your health otherwise I will
not talk to you..." She turned her face
away from him.
He tries to turn it but she didn't let him...
"You know what when everybody told me
to take rest... Only one person was on my
mind and that was you... So I couldn't
sleep and I wrote a song for you... A duet
so you can sing with me too... Here..." He
Took out the paper which he wrote and
gave it to her.
Taking the guitar he started playing sitting
on the bed. And sang looking deep into his
eyes.

relaxing her head on his shoulder from his
right and holding his arm in hers she also
