Chapter 8: Ariving at Liberty Manse

When we reached Liberty Manse, I said goodbye to Zain and headed to Luke that was waiting for me outside the gate.

"Luke, it is nice to see you again." I greeted him with a smile.

"It seems to be some time, Miss Juliana. Your dress has arrived from Nobel Michel. I will show you your room at once. Prince Keith will like to see you after I give you a tour of the Manse." Luke said with a bow.

As I was shown my room and was given a tour of the Manse, Luke took me to Keith.

Like knocked three times on Keith's office and said,"I have brought Miss Juliana."

With that he opened the door to reveal all the princes.

'What are they doing here?'

"Luke you may leave." Keith demanded.

With a bow, Luke left us alone.

"Hey Keith, you didn't tell us that you invited Julie to tonight's ball." Roberto says.

"Well maybe it's because you won't shut up and let me finish my work!" Keith yelled frustrated.

"Don't have to shout." Roberto says.

'Well this is awkward. Should I do something?'

Deciding I should open my mouth is said,"Umm, what am I doing here."

'This so nerve wracking.' I thought.

"Entertainment them go now." Keith demands.

'Did I hear that right?'

"What do you mean entertain them." I tried not to yell.

"Like I said is what is means now do something." Keith out done his papers and looks at me.

"Like what?" I asked.

"Like I don't know, play something like a flute, violin, piano what ever now go!" Keith yells.

"Fine, meet me in the music room. I will be coming in 30 minutes." I mean like it is the most I can do to be invited to a ball.

Walking out of the room, I headed to the library.

''Let's see.... Ah ha! How to play the violin!" I said out loud while taking the book out of the shelf.

Reading the book on how to play the violin, I came across a song.

'Seems easy.' I memorized the whole song and place the set back into the book and place it on the shelf.

Going to the music room like promised, I opened the door to see everyone there.

"What took you so long!" Joshua raised his voice.

"When I told you to entertain us you decided to slack off!" Keith yelled.

"Brother!" A blonde girl yelled at Keith.

'Huh is she Cathy!'

"Um, who are you?" I asked the girl with beautiful blonde hair.

"My name's Catherine but you can just call me Cathy. I'm Keith's sister if you were wondering." Cathy answered with a big smile.

'Really Cathy is so different from her brother.'

"So what song are you going to play?" Roberto asked excited.

"Well, I don't know what it is called but it is my first time playing a violin so be easy on me okay." With that said I picked up the violin and started to play.

As I placed the violin on my shoulder and the bough with my other hand, I started to play the song that I memorized.

When I started playing, everyone has a shock face.

'Am I really that bad.'

Closing my eyes from the melody at I am playing, I heard someone or somebody opening the door to the music room.

'Are they leaving!'

Ignoring the sounds, I continued to play.

When I played the last note, I opened my eyes to see everyone clapping.

When I looked at the opened door, I revealed  butlers and servants clapping.

" So how was it? Remember first time so no negative comments." I asked while placing the violin down.

" Are you sure you never played the violin before." Wilfred asked a little surprised.

"Yea this is my first time. That is why I didn't come to the music room straight away. Instead I went to the library and read a book on how to play a violin." I confessed.

"Where did you learn that song?"  Glenn asks.

"In the library just now." I answered.

"Wait you memorize the whole song in that short period of time." Cathy asked astonished.

"Well, yes!" I said happily.

"You are truly gifted." Edward says.

I could feel a blush forming.

" well thanks." I turned my head away.

"Oh look what you have done to Julie. You made her shy." Roberto teased.

'Gosh will they stop.'

"I am sorry to interrupt but Laura is here." Luke says with the other butlers at the door.

'Laura seriously! She's the girl that plays as Keith's fiancée later on.'

"Seriously, no one invited her here." Keith whispers as he went out the door.

"Well, I'm going to get ready." I said looking at the clock.

"Why now! I want you to play the song again!" Roberto whined .

"Roberto, it's already 5 I should get going."

With that said, I walk out the door and into my room
