The
Princess' Freedom
Chapter 29
Lucas smiled as he watched his friends. He may have died, but he would never leave them.
Ellie was the one he was worried about. He could see past her mask. He could see that she was just slowly breaking inside. He loved her, he truly did, but he wasn't going to stay home while his best-friend went and rescued Liberty. Liberty was like his little sister. He wasn't going to do nothing. He was going to help.
He watched his twins, smiling as they walked over to Ellie. He hopped that they would remember him. He also hoped they would help Ellie get throuh this dark time.
He also watched Ashton and Liberty. Those two brought a bright, happy smile on his face. He didn't need to worry about those two getting through this. They had eachother. They didn't really need anyone else.
While he wished he didn't have to leave his friends and family, he knew it was for the best. He would do everything all over again.

Yes, this one is short, but I wanted to leave it like this. This is important, in a way. I didn't want to add anyone else's thoughts but his, and even though it's short it says all it needs to say.
