The
Princess' Freedom
Chapter 11
"Liberty, I would like for you to meet Prince Arioan." Liberty's Father said later on at the ball. Liberty curtsied.
"Prince Arioan," she said, "It's a pleasure to meet you."
"Pleasure's all mine, Princess Liberty." He said, bowing and kissing her outstreched hand. She smiled at him politfully.
"Ah, Eliot, Eliza, so glad you could make it!" Said the hosting King. "And this must be Liberty. It's a pleasure to meet my new daughter."
"Wait, what?" Liberty asked, looking back at her Mother and Father.
"Liberty, you are getting married to Prince Arioan in two days time." Her Father said. "He will take over our kingdom."
"Father, what about his kingdom?" she asked. He smiled cruely.
"The kingdom's will be joined. He'll be in charge of ruling both." he said. Liberty sighed, knowing there was no way to get out of it. That is, until she saw the man watching her from the back of the room.
"Father, do you mind if I go get some air out of the garden? I need some time to... get used to the new developements." she said. Her father nodded.
"Go right ahead. I understand." He said. She smiled over at her Mother.
"I'll join you, Liberty. We can talk about plans for tomorrow to enjoy ourselves." Her mother said to her. Liberty smile brightened.
"I would love that, Mother." she said.
