For the last hour I have spent hidden back here from the gems and...Steven .
I have had time to contemplate about this werid 'feeling' I have gotten and I have come to 3 conclusions of what it may be.
Ok so the first conclusion I was brought to is that maybe... I have been away from homeworld for too long and maybe Im just going COMPLETELY INSANE .
The second conclusion I came to is that maybe... Steven has a mind control power that can take control of minds and control how they feel... But this conclusion is completely ludicrous and unimaginable .
*Sigh* The last conclusion I have come through to is that- .
Before I finished my thoughts I hear foot steps walk into the barn and I hold my breath .
"I wonder whats up with Steven! he's usually excited to see us after a mission but now he seems like something bad happened to him to him while we were gone." My eyes widen as I hear Amethyst say this phrase .
" Yeah this is really odd . " I hear Pearl also say .
"Let's just give him time, maybe he had a bad day" I hear Garnet say before I hear their footsteps fade away .
'S-steven is sad?...Did I do this?' I feel some sort of guilt over welm me and I stare at the ground.
' I have to talk to him... I have to...' I slowly stand up and I take a peak from behind the boxes .
The barn is empty and silent , so I take the opportunity of quickly running out of the barn .
When I get outside the night breeze hits my skin and the moon is out .
I slowly walk around the barn and I stop when I hear soft sobs .
I peak from the side of the barn and I see him sitting with his face buried in his knees . I slowly and silently approach him .
As I hear him sighing sadly and I feel a painful feeling in my chest .
"St-Steven..." I call out his name and he looks up and I spot a tear falling from his face.
"P-Peridot!" He quickly wipes the tear away from his eye.
"I-I was looking all over for you where were you?" Steven asked me immediatly .
I look down at the ground frowning for a moment .
