We walked out of the coffee shop with our coffees in our hands. It was finally time to pick up my brothers. Their school on the opposite side of town that the high school was. It was such a pain when I had to pick them up when we still lived at home, but now, not so much. Liam and I got back into my car and began to drive towards my brothers' school.

"Do you mind if I turn the radio on, Katie?" Liam asked.

We had put our coffees in the cup holders so they wouldn't spill on us.

"Sure Liam. Go right ahead."

He turn the dial and the radio came on. I knew the song that was playing right away. It was "What About Now" by Daughtry.

"...for all the things that never died to make it through the night.
Love will find you.

What about now?
What about today?
What if you're making me all that I was meant to be?
What if I love never went away?
What if it's lost behind words we could never find?
Baby before it's too late.
What about now?"

I heard Liam humming the song and I even caught myself doing it too. Then I had pulled into my brothers' school parking lot. They were standing at the entrance of their school waiting for me. Bradley had gotten in first.

"Katie! You know that one girl I really like?" Bradley asked.

"Mhmm," I said.

"Well, she told me she likes me back!"

"Well congrats Bradley."

Then Matty got in next.

"Oh hi, Uncle Liam!" Matty exclaimed.

Then Trevor and Devin got in.

"How was school, boys?" Liam asked as my brothers buckled up and I started to drive back to the house.

"I got in trouble," Trevor said.

"What did you do this time?" I asked.

"That's the thing Katie, it wasn't me. I got framed!"

"What did you get in trouble for?"

"Passing notes."

"And how did you get framed for it?"

"You know Jeffery, that kid that hates my guts?"

"Mhmm."

"He threw it on to my desk and when I tried to get rid of it, the teacher thought I was passing notes."

"I'm sorry about that Trev. What about you Devy? How was school?"

"I learned a song to remember the President's names," Devin said.

"Yeah, and he's been singing it ever since school got out. It's very annoying, Devy," Matty said.

"Please don't fight in the car. It will distract your sister," Liam said.

"Ok, Uncle Liam," my brothers said at the same time.

It was silent in the car other than the radio.

"Lights will guide you home,
And ignite your bones.
And I will try to fix you.

And high above or down below.
When you're too in love to let it go.
But if you never try you'll never know,
Just what you're worth."

My brothers started singing along with the song.

"Hey Katie, what's in the coffee cup?" Bradley asked when a commercial came on the radio.

"It's a vanilla latte. You want the rest?" I asked. "Yes please."

I handed him the cup and I noticed that Liam was giving me a weird look.

"You give your twelve year old brother coffee?" Liam asked.

"He's already hyper as it is. Besides, it probably lost its flavor by now."

Don't you think that Katie's brothers calling the boys their Uncle is cuuuuuute?
