I took the necklace from Louis and clasped it around my neck where it belonged.

"It fell off after you stormed to your room," he said.

"Thank you, Louis," I said softly.

"Katie, will you ever forgive me?"

Louis was sitting next to me on the floor. I had my hands in my lap and I was messing with my fingers.

"That depends, do you feel anything when you kiss me? Like sparks or fireworks?"

I heard him sigh heavily.

"I do, Katie. I really do."

I guess I kind of did too, but not as much as I did when I kissed Harry. When I kissed Harry, it was like the Fourth of July fireworks finale. When Louis kissed me...I'm not even sure how to explain it. It was almost the same when I kissed Harry, but slightly different.

"What about you, Katie?"

There was no sense in lying to him because he would know if I was.

"Yea, I do too."

"But not like when you kiss him, right?"

I could hear the sadness in his voice and I was feeling horrible.

"I'm not sure."

He grabbed my chin and brought my lips to his. There were definitely fireworks going off and it was getting pretty close to the Fourth of July fireworks finale.

"You're the best thing I never knew I needed," went my cell phone.

I stopped kissing Louis and pulled my phone out of my pocket. It was Harry.

"Hello," I said as I stood up.

"Hey babe, uh well Devy is demanding he gets chocolate...what do I do?"

I laughed. "Tell him no."

"I have like twenty times, Katie."

"Tell him to pick something else."

"I've tried that too. He really wants chocolate."

"Fine, give it to him. Just know you are going to be the one who has to get him to fall asleep."

I heard Louis laugh.

"So what are you and Louis doing?"

"Just watching TV."

"But I don't hear anything."

"I have it on mute cause you called."

"Oh, well, you two have fun. I love you, Katie."

"I love you too, Harry."

Then I hung up.

"We aren't watching TV, Katie," Louis said.

"I know that and you know that..."

"Why did you lie to him?"

"Did you really want me to say 'Hey babe, oh no worries, I'm just sucking the face off of your best mate'?"

"Well, when you put it that way, telling him we were watching TV sounds better."

"No, really?"

I went out my door and Louis followed.

"And by the way, I don't think you were sucking my face off."

We entered the kitchen where I opened the fridge to search for something to eat. Louis sat down at the table.

"Yeah, I know. I was kind of exaggerating."

I pulled out some ham and cheese to make myself a sandwich.

"Do you want anything?"

"No." He had said something else but I didn't catch it. It was probably along the lines of "No, but I want you" or "No because I can't have you" or pretty much anything else.

"Hmm, well that's a shame," I said as I took out the bread.

"What's a shame?"

"That you don't want anything to eat."

"Why is that?"

I had my back towards him as I was at the sink. I quietly turned on the water, grabbed the sprayer and aimed it at Louis.

"Whoa whoa. What are you going to do with that?"

He put his hands in the air...like that was really going to stop me from spraying him with water.

"This!" I said as I pushed the button on the sprayer.

Water was going everywhere. Louis began to walk towards me as the water drenched his clothes. He took the sprayer from me and drenched me. The floor was super slippery and we fell onto the kitchen floor; Louis' back was on the floor and I was on top of him.

"We really need to stop getting ourselves into these situations," I said.

All Louis did was laugh.

------------

Katie...what on earth are you doing?
