I ran off to my room with Harry close behind.
"Katie, now you have to do this calmly. If it was Lily that did this, who's to say she won't use your words against you when you're yelling at her?" Harry asked as he closed my door behind him.
But I wasn't focusing on what Harry was saying. All I could focus on was how not to start getting into a yelling war with Lily. I pushed the redial button and waited for Lily to pick up the phone.
"Katie, did you hear what I said?" Harry asked as he began waving his hand in front of my face.
I was sitting on my bed waiting for her to pick up. It rang three times then went to voicemail.
"This is da Lillers. Call back later."
"She totally knows that I know she did it," I said as I pushed redial again.
"How do you know Katie?" Harry came and sat next to me on the bed.
"It rang three times and then went to voicemail. That means she saw it was me and ignored the call. If she wasn't near her phone, it would have rang six times." I got her voicemail on the second ring.
"This is da--" but I hung up and redialed once more.
"Katie, I know you're frazzled from the interview and now about Lily. But I want you to calm down."
I glared at Harry, but stopped when he put his hand in my shoulder.
"I'm sorry Harry. I didn't mean to look at you that way. It's just, I've been friends with Lily since the third grade. So that's, nine years and a little thing called jealousy ruins it all."
This time Lily picked up. "Uhm...h-h-hello?"
I could tell she was scared to speak.
"How could you do this to me, Lily?" I asked as I tried not to yell or cry.
"I'm sorry, Katie. I didn't think she'd take it that far."
"You didn't think she'd take it that far? She's a reporter...or paparazzi...or whatever the heck she is! Of course she'd take it farther than it should have! I can't believe you would stoop this low all because you are jealous that I'm dating Harry!"
"Katie, I would take it all back if I could."
"And somehow I find that hard to believe Lily."
"How many times do I have to say I'm sorry?"
"You can never say that you're sorry enough to undo what you've done to me and the boys. I hope you're happy with yourself, Lily. Now delete my number, delete the boys' numbers and never speak to me again. This friendship is over!" Then I hung up.
I tossed my phone to the side as Harry pulled me into him. I slid into his lap and laid my head on his shoulder.
"I think you handled that pretty well," Harry said.
I felt a laugh escape my lips.
"I'm being serious Katie."
"If you call pretty much yelling at her the entire time 'handled pretty well' then I'd believe you were being serious."
Harry chuckled and kissed my forehead. I closed my eyes, not to sleep, but just to escape from everything in reality.

Wow, i am absolutely horrible at updating.
I am soooooooo sorry
So Katie isn't friends with Lily anymore. I sure wouldn't be if that happened to me.
Any predictions?
