Chapter 68 - It's Either You Or Lily

"Monica Johnson? You mean that really nosey interviewer?" Joee asked.


"Yeah her."


"Oh my gosh. I freaking hate her! What did she do?"


I really didn't want to bring it all up again, so I looked at Harry; hoping that maybe he'd say it all for me.


"First they dress her up like she's a stripper, then she brings up the Twitter thing where fans thought there was something going on between Louis and Katie. I don't know how she got the picture, but she had a picture of Louis kissing Katie. Louis was trying to protect Katie by saying it was photoshopped."


"And she didn't believe it?"


"Of course not. Monica then put all the attention on Katie by asking her if it was photoshopped. I wanted to rip her throat out for doing this. The interview was all a set up."


"A set up? What do you mean by that?"


"Someone knew there was tension going on in this house and I know they told Monica Johnson about it so she could exploit Katie as a horrible person."


While Harry was saying this, my mind automatically thought of one specific person. Lily.


"Harry, I think I know who did this," I said as I turned to Harry.


"Who would be this cruel to do this to you, Katie?" he asked as he put his hands on my shoulder.


"I think Lily did this."


"What makes you think she did it?" Joee asked.


"Yeah Katie, what makes you think she did it?" Harry asked.


"I should have felt suspicious when she had texted me right after the 'suicidal' incident," I said.


"Suicidal? Monica Johnson called you suicidal?" Joee asked.




"Technically she asked if I was suicidal. Either way it's not true. But Lily was trying to be a nice person by saying she's sorry for everything and then goes to say are you okay."


"That doesn't exactly answer the question, Katie."


"Who else do I know that hates me enough to do this to me?"


Harry and I both looked at Joee. I knew she didn't hate me, but I did get angry at her yesterday...and she did take a long time to text back.


"You don't I think I did it, do you?" Joee asked.


She took a couple steps back towards my brothers...who were being extremely quiet.


"It's either you or Lily," I said.


"Why would I do this to you Katie? I'm not the girl who is jealous of you because you're dating a guy from One Direction. Lily is and we all know that for a fact. We know she's pretty much disowned you as a friend because she thought you were telling Zayn to ignore her."


"Zayn was ignoring her on his own and I don't blame him. Speaking of Zayn, who is he dating?"


"That doesn't matter. Let's focus on this right now," Harry said.


He was right; trying to figure out who did this to me was more important in finding out who Zayn was dating...no matter how badly I wanted to know.


"So what did Lily text you?" Harry asked.


I showed Joee and Harry the texts Lily sent me.


"It's definitely her," Joee said.


"Are you sure?" I asked.


"Absolutely! She texted you out of the blue right after you left the interview asking you to forgive her."



Could Joee be right?
