Devy was able to come home with us; that made me happy. He was asleep in my arms as Harry drove me and my brothers back home. We didn't talk at all the entire short ride to my house. When we pulled into my driveway I could see my mum and dad sitting in the living room just waiting for me and the boys to walk in.

"Trev, Matty, Bradley, we're home," I said. They had fallen asleep and I knew they wouldn't be able to fall asleep for a long time after what's going to go down tonight.

"Do we have to go inside, Katie?" Trevor whimpered.

"We have no choice, Trev," I told him.

"Don't I have a say in this?" Harry asked.

"No, not really," I sadly told him.

"What if I came inside with you?"

"They'd probably kick you out."

"That's a risk I'm willing to take to save my girl." My girl? So it was official? I was Harry Styles' girlfriend?

"But what if you get hurt in the process, Harry? I don't think I could live with myself if you got hurt because of me."

"Don't worry about me, love, I'll be fine." Trevor, Matty and Bradley got out of the Durango then which left me, Devin and Harry still there.

"Please Harry, just go home. No matter what you hear come out of my house, just keep heading home," I pled with him.

"No Katie, they can't keep hurting you over the stupidest stuff. It's not fair!" Harry said.

"Life's not fair." I grabbed the keys out of the ignition and got out of the Durango while holding my sleeping brother.

Harry's POV:

"Life's not fair," she told me. She grabbed the keys out of the ignition and got out of her car. I couldn't stay in her car so I got out too. I began to follow her up her sidewalk but she shot me a stern look.

"No, Harry. Go home," she scolded. I stopped where I was on the sidewalk and watched as one by one the Daniels children entered their home. And what I had heard next had pierced my heart so much that it made me drop to the sidewalk.

Katie's POV:

The only place I knew I was safe was in my dreams. In my dreams, nothing bad would happen; everything went the way that I wanted. But if only my reality was like that.

My alarm clock went off. "Cause it's gotta--" I shut it off quickly. Pain was felt all throughout my body; my face, my arms, my legs. Pretty much everywhere. I slowly sat up in bed and opened my eyes only to quickly shut them because the sun was blinding me. I didn't remember most of last night other than yelling at Harry to go home. I got off my bed and opened my eyes to see myself in the mirror. I sucked in some air as I saw my bruised face before me. Tears fell from my eyes.

"How could they do this to me?" I asked. Then I heard someone humming outside my door. It was my mom.

"Darling? Are you awake?" she asked. I couldn't believe that my parents were completely different people when they sobered up; they would never remember what they did to me the night before.

"Yeah mom," I said weakly.

"Can I come in?"

"Uh, no. I'm not...decent."

"I've seen all your body parts. I'm coming in anyway."

"I said no, mom!" It was silent for a while and then I heard footsteps walking away from my bedroom.
