Harry stood up with me in his arms and stepped into the shower.
"Harry, what are you doing?" I asked as Harry turned on the shower.
"Just shh, Katie," he whispered.
I didn't know what he was trying to do, but somehow the warm water from the shower helped.
"Harry, you're getting your clothes soaked."
But he told me to shh again. He just held me to him and slowly rocked me back and forth.
Then I heard Liam yell, "Why is the kitchen floor wet?" followed by Louis yelling, "Katie and I had a water fight."
"Harry, I'm so sorry. I should have told you what Louis was doing right away."
"Shh, love. It's alright. Louis won't bother you anymore."
Well, I'm pretty sure that was going to be impossible since I lived under the same roof as him.
"We are going to the courthouse tomorrow to see if you can become your brothers' legal guardian. After that, we're going house hunting."
House hunting? Was Harry really going to do all this just to get me away from Louis?
"House hunting?"
"Yeah, a house for me, you and your brothers."
"Harry, you may be able to get me away from Lou, but you can't escape him. He's your band mate. He's your best mate. Eventually the other boys are going to find out and you'll break up as a band and--"
"Katie, we're not going to break up as a band. And I'm not going to break up with you because of Louis. This will all pass over. But I still want to get you away from him."
My hair was drenched now and so was Harry's. The white shirt I was wearing was now see-through...not that it really mattered because it was unbuttoned and you could see my bra either way. We sat in silence as the water continued to fall on us. Every once in awhile I'd hear someone would bang on the bathroom door because they had to use it, but Harry would tell them to either go outside or go to the one in the basement.
"Katie?" Harry asked.
"Mhmm?" I was almost falling asleep in his arms.
"Do you ever think about how your life would be if I never bumped into you at the coffee shop?"
"I sometimes do." I had my eyes closed.
"Do you ever think about dating someone...you know, not famous?"
My eyes shot open.
"What do you mean Harry?"
"Like if you never met me and you met someone normal..."
"Normal is just a setting on your washing machine," I said as I yawned.
"Ok, well, someone not famous..."
"No, I've never thought about it."
Then Harry turned off the shower. He grabbed a towel off the towel rack and began to dry me off. Then he wrapped me in it and held onto me as he stepped out of the shower. He began walking towards my room with me in his arms. I caught a glance of my brothers sitting in the living room watching a movie; Toy Story.
He placed me on my bed as. Harry then went to get a clean shirt and my PJ pants from my dresser.
"Here, Katie. Put these on. You can get sick if you stay in wet clothes," Harry said as he handed me the clothes.
He stepped out so I could change. This is why I loved this boy, he just was so polite.
