Harry's POV;

"That's a wrap for today guys," shouted the director. I walked off set and pulled out my phone. One unread message:

5:34 PM Amber: Hey ;) Are you still up for dinner tonight?

I looked at the time; 6:15 PM. "Hey babe, yeah I'm looking forward to it ;) I'll pick you up around 7."

Emma's POV;

"Look Amber, maybe this isn't such a good idea. I mean the guy could be a killer for all we know," I was obviously desperately trying to convince Amber to cancel the date.

"Emma! He's not a bad guy, and it's only dinner! Stop acting jealous," Amber spat back, knowing I would lose this battle.

I sat quietly for a second contemplating where I should tell her how Harry acted last night, or just to let her figure it out for herself how Harry really was; a guy who uses girls like toys and puts them down when he's done.

But let's face it, she wouldn't believe me either way. In Amber's world, it's all about her and what she thinks is right.

"I'm not jealous Amber, I just dont want you to get hurt..that's all and-" before I finished my sentence I was cut off by the door bell.

"Can you get that? It's Harry, tell him I'm almost done." Amber ordered.

I groaned deeply as I got up off Amber's comfy bed and slowly walked down the stairs to the front door. I opened it aggressively, and shot a bitter look at Harry. He stared back in complete shock. I guess he wasn't expecting to see me, now was he?

"whoa...Emm-" He began.

I quickly interrupted him, "You are absolutely ridiculous Harry!" I whisper-shouted at him, "You can't go around acting like you are into someone when in reality you only want to use them for your own pleasure and then dump them once you're done playing. That little game you play with girls will not work on me or Amber," I stopped for a second to take a deep breath because my lungs felt like they were going to collapse. My blood pressure definitely was over the roof right now, "I was right when I thought you seemed like nothing but a stupid player."

Once I finished my little rant, I continued looking him dead in the eye with nothing but disgust and disbelief. It's not like I was jealous that he was taking Amber out, I was just upset with the fact that he threw himself on me and had other intentions of taking someone out the whole time.

Who knows how many girls he plays around with? And, I dont want to see Amber get hurt, especially not by a dick like Harry.

Harry looked down at me with sadness in his eyes, but I could tell it was just guilt, "Listen Emma, you dont get it I-"

"Hey Harry!" Amber interrupted coming down the stairs to greet him with a hug. I rolled my eyes and looked away, "Let's go! I'm starving!" she said with a smile.

Harry moved to the side allowing room for Amber to walk out, "After you."

Amber looked back at me, "Make sure to lock up when you leave Emma."

"Yup, have fun," I said back sarcastically before shutting the door behind them.

Harry's POV;

This was a mistake.

Last night at the club, I went over to Amber only to ask her were Emma was. Instead of answering, she had other intentions. Amber pulled me onto the dance floor and started to grind her body on mine. We clearly had a few drinks in our system, so I didn't make the right decision of stopping her. We exchanged numbers afterwards, but I didn't think much of it because Emma was the one I wanted, not Amber. Then, earlier today when Emma was working on Niall at the studio my jealousy took over and I texted Amber hoping she'd want to go out to dinner with me so I could find out more Emma. And maybe figure out what's making her hate me so much?

Hopefully I would find out soon.

Amber agreed to dinner, but the 'date' was a total miss. I barely talked because Amber was continuously bragging about herself, telling me about her work and what she likes to do for fun blah blah blah.

"Amber," I interrupted, thankfully she didn't seem to mind, "Emma..the girl I saw over at your house, was she the one from last night?" I asked playing stupid.

"Mhmm! She's a friend of mine." Amber replied.

"I just can't help but feel like she's upset or hates me," I began, hoping to get some good information.

"She doesn't hate you, dont worry. Emma just got out of a three year relationship with an idiot name Tyler, so she's still bummed out about it. Sooner or later she will get over it," Amber added.

"If you don't mind me asking, why did they break up?"

Amber exhaled deeply, "He cheated on her with some girl at work."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that," I replied sincerely.

I honestly did feel bad for Emma. Three years seems like a long time to be with someone, only to find out that they don't love you or in this case that they had been seeing another person the whole time. I'm guessing that's why she has put such a large wall up now.

"How about we get dessert to go? I've got to get up early tomorrow," I needed to cut our 'date' short.

"Yeah, sure." Amber responded, before getting herself ready to leave.

Emma's POV;

After they left, I walked over to Amber's couch and laid down, sprawling my body on it. My mind had been a mess for the past two days and it was all because of Harry.

Maybe I would have liked him if he didn't remind me so much of Tyler, my cold-hearted ex. He used me, and it took me 3 years to find out that he was cheating.

Three years of my life that I will never get back.

Three years that I thought were the happiest years.

I still beat myself up for thinking that he was 'the one' for me.

How could i have missed all the signs?

All the calls and texts saying he was busy with work?The smell of her perfume lingering on his clothes? How could I have let Tyler have all of me?

My mind was so preoccupied that I didn't know I had drifted off to sleep until I suddenly woke up to the sound of Amber calling my name. I rubbed my eyes and slowly sat up, squinting to make out Amber's face,

"Hey, are you back already?" I asked in a groggy voice.

"yeah, we're back Em."

We? what?

I looked behind Amber and saw Harry. I groaned as I got up and reached for my bag that was sitting beside the couch.

"Well, I hope you guys had a good time, I'm going to take off now," I said as I pushed past Harry, heading for the door.

"Wait," Harry yelled, stopping me in my tracks, "Let me drive you home? It's really cold out."

"No thanks," I said as I grabbed the door handle clearly not wanting to get in a car with him.

"Emma," Amber called, "Let him take you home. It's freezing out, and considering you just woke up I'm sure you will be walking the streets like a zombie."

I thought about it for a while, "fine."

"Great," Harry said a bit too cheerfully, "Thanks for having dinner with me Amber." He kissed her cheek softly and followed me outside.

Harry unlocked the car and opened the passengers seat door for me. "Thanks," I whispered as I got into his black range rover.

Once he got in I told him how to get to my house. We both kept quiet until he pulled up into my driveway.

"Thanks for the ride," I said quietly, even though I could have walked home perfectly fine myself.

"Listen, um, I know this sounds weird but I was kind of hoping I could get Niall's number. He wrote it down for me, but I must have lost it while I was getting ready to leave work."

I know this was a long shot, but I really wanted to see Niall again. He made me feel normal again with all of his funny jokes and his cute laugh. He was a fun guy, who seemed like a blast to hang out with.

I didn't like him like him, I just wanted to be friends with someone like that who can make me feel happy. Plus, I knew asking Harry for Niall's number would upset him slightly, so that's why I did it. I wasn't really expecting Harry to give it to me.

"Yeah sure, I guess I can give it to you if you want," His voice was filled with uncertainty.

I couldn't believe he actually agreed to it. I pulled out my phone and added Niall in as a new contact.

I gave Harry a small smile as I got out of his car. He looked a bit hurt, but it's not like he actually cares, right?
