RECAP

"Emma!" I screamed as I ran towards them, "Matt let her go you fucker!"

"Fuck off!" Matt screamed back at me as he entered the elevator and pressed a button repeatedly to get the elevator doors to close.

I forced my legs to move even faster to reach them but when I finally did, it was too late. The door was three inches away from being shut.

"MATT I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU! YOU HEAR ME?!" I screamed before the doors closed completely.

I slammed my fists hard on the metal, cursing that it didn't stay open for just a couple more seconds.

This wasn't happening. Please tell me this wasn't happening.

Chapter 38

Harry's POV;

I tried taking deep breaths to calm myself down so that I could think, but nothing was working.

"Are you alright sir?"

I stopped pacing and turned around to find the bellhop looking at me with genuine concern.

Does it look like I'm alright?

I'm standing here like an idiot while Emma is being taken up to some room by a complete psychopath. I don't even what to think about what kinds of stuff he has in mind. I can't even begin to explain how much it kills me that I can't be there right now to help her when she needs me the most.

"Sir?"

I shook my head, "Excuse me," I ran past the bellhop and rushed over to the front desk.

The receptionist looked up from the computer, forcing a smile, "Hi, how can I he-"

"I need you to give me someone's room number," I flat out told her.

Her smile dropped, "Sir, I'm afraid I can't do that."

I fumbled with grabbing my wallet from my back pocket. I pulled the large amount I had sitting inside it, "Please," I begged, sliding it towards her, "it's an emergency."

She cleared her throat and grabbed the bills, "I guess I can tell you, what's the last name?"

Shit. I don't even know the guys last name.

"Uhh," I shut my eyes, trying hard to think. Emma must not have mentioned it because nothing came to mind, "I'm not sure," I sighed, "I know his first name is Matt and he works with Direct Management Group. He helped set up Adam Lambert's release party that's going on down the hall."

The receptionist nodded, "Let me see what I can find."

"Thanks," I breathed.

As she looked for Matt's exact room, I nervously tapped away on the desk. I kept looking down at my watch.

It's been five minutes since I last saw Emma.

God, please let her be okay.

"Anything so far?"

I know I was being pushy, but this was important.

"There's a Matthew on Lambert's team, but I can't find a Matt," She answered with her eyes locked on the screen as she continued to search.

Matt is obviously short for Matthew, it must be him. It has to be.

"What's his room number?" I desperately asked.

"It says here 1531."

I quickly thanked the receptionist and made a run for it towards the elevators not caring if she had something else to say. A couple was trying to get into an open elevator, but I quickly pushed past them.
