Harry's POV;

"Emma!" I growled, running down the stairs after her, but she was already at the end of the block by the time I made it to the door.

"Fuck!" I screamed slamming the door so roughly you'd expect it to fall off the hinges.

I bet she's going straight to Matt's place right now. She's probably going to vent to him about how much of a possessive jerk I am. And he'll be right there to comfort her.

I swung my fist straight into the wall at the thought of him trailing his hands and lips over Emma's delicate body.

Everything was turning red from all the rage that was growing inside me. My heart was pounding a thousand miles per hour, and my body felt like it was on fire.

I sat down on the couch, resting my elbows on my knees and my palms on my forehead. I tried taking deep breathes, but that wasn't helping at all.

He's probably walking Emma up to his bedroom now, planning on making sweet love to my girl. She'll be screaming his name over and over again, and not even for a second will she be thinking of me.

I stood up sharply, cursing at the top of my lung as I hooked my hand under the coffee table and flipped it aggressively to the side. All the glass and ceramic accent pieces crashed all over the floor, but I didn't care. Breaking shit made me feel so much better.

I marched into the kitchen, knocking anything in my way over. I swung open a cabinet and pulled out all the alcoholic drinks I had stored there.

I slammed everything down on the island counter, not hard enough to break any bottles. I grabbed an empty glass and poured the contents of whatever drink I got a hold of first into it.

I downed the drink at once, immediately pouring me another.

Emma's POV;

My feet hit the wet pavement hard as I ran through the pouring rain.

I hadn't stopped running since I left the house, and I'm sure I was a mile away now.

Every muscle in my body was telling me to stop, especially my numb legs, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

I needed to get away.

I wish I could just fix everything, but I don't know what I can do to make Harry believe me. Does he even love me anymore after all this? I don't get it, I didn't do anything wrong!

My lungs felt like they were going to collapse any second now so I stopped at a bus shelter, and sat down on the bench.

When I finally caught my breath, I reached down into my faux leather crossbody and pulled out my phone. I dialed Dani's number hoping she'd be able to talk. (I know Liam is no longer with her, but I've grown too attached to her so she's staying dammit)

"Hey Em!" Danielle cheerfully picked up.

"Hi, are you busy?"

"No, I'm just over at Zayn's place helping out with decorations and preparing the food. They were going to invite us all over, and surprise us with the good news. They're eng-"

"DANIELLE! shhh! It's supposed to be a secret!!" I heard Perrie shout in the background.

Dani and I couldn't help but laugh at how cute she was being. It's good to hear that the proposal went well.

"Emma!" Perrie exclaimed through the phone that I'm guessing she took out of Dani's hands.

"Hey hun, congratulations!"
