"You coming?" Harry asked me.
"Yeah..It's just...you're house is....wow," I stood in complete awe in front of his place.
Harry laughed, "Come on, let's head in. It's chilly out here," he motioned for me to follow him to the front entrance.
"So, do you just live here alone or what?" I asked, while trailing behind him.
"Yeah, but the boys chill here a lot. And, occasionally my mom and sister come and stay for a few days," he held the door open for me.
I walked through the front door and, once again, I was completely mesmerized. The inside of his house was so spacious, but definitely very welcoming and homey.
I slowly walked around his living room, examining every little detail so I could learn more about him.
"Do you play?" I asked, pointing to a guitar that sat beside the fireplace.
"Yeah, a little. A friend of mine is teaching me how," Harry answered as he made his way closer to stairs that led to the second level of his home, "I'll be right back, you can keep looking around if you'd like. I wont be long."
I nodded my head and watched as Harry disappeared upstairs. My eyes scanned around the stairs, catching sight of a picture that rested on top of a table. I walked over and picked up the frame. Inside it was a picture of two women. One was older and the second was a young woman.
"That's my mom and sister," Harry said as he came down the stairs.
"They're both beautiful," I said while inspecting the picture, "I especially like your sister's hair."
Harry laughed, "You should meet them. I know you'd get along well with my sister, that's for sure."
I smiled up at him, "That would be nice," I said, putting the picture back to its original spot. I looked down at Harry's hand, noticing he was holding a pair of boxers and a spare shirt.
"I figured you might want to change into something more comfortable," He said while nervously rubbing the back of his neck.
I reached out and grabbed the clothes from his hand, "Thanks...is there a bathroom I could change in?"
"Yeah, upstairs. It's the last room on the left," Harry directed.
"Alright, thanks," I said as I made my way up to the bathroom. It was no surprise that his bathroom looked like it belonged in a fancy hotel suite. I quickly changed into the clothes Harry brought for me, and washed my facing removing all of the unnecessary makeup that I put on earlier. I dried my face and headed out into the hallway so I could make my way downstairs to Harry.
I was walking past a huge bedroom, when the sight of city lights caught my attention. I automatically entered the room, and headed towards the enormous window that had a spectacular view of the city, and also revealed a balcony just outside of Harry's bedroom.
God, was I jealous.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" Harry randomly said out of no where.
I turned around only to find him coming of his bathroom with nothing on but his boxers. I looked away, feeling my cheeks get warm. I didn't even realize he was in here.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to barge in here while you were changing," I said, still avoiding his gaze.
"No worries, I was almost done anyways. But I can stay like this if you want," Harry said as he slowly wiggled his eyebrows before starting to put on his plaid pajama pants and loose white t-shirt. I shot him an annoyed look and turned to face the window again.
"Oh, come on Emma! I'm only joking," Harry said as he walked closer to me. He grabbed the balcony's door handle and slid it open.
A cold breeze entered his room making me shiver. Harry stepped forward onto the balcony and started up a fire in the firepit. He signaled for me to come out and I took a seat at the edge of a huge lounging chair he had set up near the fire pit.
Immediately, heat radiated from the fire and danced along my skin warming me up. It felt so relaxing to just listen to the fire.
"Are you feeling better now?" Harry asked as he sat beside me on the huge chair.
"Yeah, I feel warmer now," I said as I looked to my left at him.
His green eyes looked so bright from the glow of the fire against his face. I got lost in them for a moment before snapping myself out of it.
"And how about your eye?" Harry asked as he took the throw behind him and wrapped it around his shoulders.
"Eh, it's kinda sore but oh well" I replied, "maybe by tomorrow it will feel better," I added while yawning. I was getting pretty sleepy.
Harry's POV;
I could tell Emma was getting tired from the way her eyes kept shutting.
"Why don't we go inside and sleep?" I suggested.
"But it's so nice and warm out here. You go ahead, I'll stay out here," Emma responded in a tired voice. She sluggishly crawled up the chair and laid down.
"I want to stay out here with you," I admitted as I followed her action, laying down beside her.
She was probably too tired and still a bit off from the wine to push me away. I covered Emma up with the blanket I had around my shoulders, and to my surprise, she moved closer to me placing her head on my chest and snuggling up by my side.
Was this seriously happening?
I wrapped my arm around her and slowly began running my fingertips up and down her back.
"Thanks, for looking out for me Harry," Emma mumbled in a sleepy voice. I smiled at how cute she was.
"Of course," I whispered. I really wanted to tell her what was on my mind. I needed to let her know that I really cared about her and now felt like the right time. Plus, she must care about me to...she has to especially after the way her mood changed when she walked in on me and Amber.
"Emma..." I whisperer, "Em?"
It was too late, she had already drifted off into sleep.
