I screamed out Harry's name when I woke up in his bed to find that he wasn't there beside me, but there was no response.
I can't believe I fell asleep last night. I sprang out of bed and ran into the bathroom.
Not there either.
I searched all the rooms on the second level with no luck of finding him in any.
I ran down the stairs to the first level, "Harry?" I called out desperately.
Nothing.
I walked past every single room yet there was no sign of him anywhere. I can't believe this; he left for tour without even saying goodbye.
I sank into the cushion of the window seat and began crying. How could he do that after everything he told me last night? If he really did like me then why couldn't he just have woken me up?
I just wish I was able to look into his eyes right now, to feel his strong arms around me, making me feel protected. I wish I could feel his lips on mine one last time, but every chance I had is now ruined.
He was gone.
Out of nowhere, I see his range rover pull into the driveway. It can't be?
I swear as soon as Harry got out of the car, it felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders, and nothing but relief and happiness washed over me. I quickly got up and wiped my tears away.
Immediately after he walked through the front door, I ran up to him and threw my arms around his neck, pulling him into a tight hug.
"Well, hello to you too," Harry laughed.
I leaned my head back and looked up at him, "I was so worried because I thought you left."
Harry pressed his lips against my forehead, "I left a note on the kitchen table, love. Liam picked me up and we went back to the restaurant to pick my car," Harry murmured.
"I'm sorry about falling asleep last night," I whispered.
Harry laughed lightly before brushing a strand of hair behind my ear. He lightly rubbed my cheek with the back of his finger, "Don't be silly Emma, it's totally okay. Plus, you're super cute when you snore," He teased.
My jaw dropped, "hey!" I yelled, smacking his arm playfully, "I do not snore!"
Harry broke out laughing at my response, "I'm kidding."
I smiled and lightly scrunched my face, "you better be."
He pulled me back into his arms and kissed my lips gently,
"I have something for you," Harry whispered as he pulled a mysterious object from his back pocket.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Close your eyes and hold out your hand," he instructed, and I did as he said.
After a second I felt something cold in my hands. I opened my eyes, and found a key sitting on my palm.
I looked at him with a bit of confusion and shock, "What is this key for?"
Harry grabbed hold of my other hand, "I know it might feel sudden and I'm not entirely sure that you will agree to this, but I was thinking maybe you could stay here and you know..." he paused, trying to read my eyes, "live with me? Just you and I."
I wasn't expecting him to ask me this, especially since I just moved in with Amber. I didn't know what to say back so I just continued to look at him with a confused expression.
"Emma, will you move in with me?" Harry asked me again quietly. I could tell the suspense was killing him.
"Harry, I can't just leave Amber's place," I answered him.
He lifted our entwined hands up to his lips, kissing the back of my hand, "Why not?"
I shrugged,"because she's my friend and she'll wonder why I want to leave all of a sudden."
Harry groaned, "I know it's not my place to say this, but Amber isn't worth it. She barely cares about you, and I see that every time I'm with you guys. She only goes after her interests. You don't need someone like that in your life. And neither do I, which is why I ended things with her. I know I should have done that a long time ago...."
He was probably right, Amber was a bit into herself. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I tried moving in with Harry. Who knows, it might turn out amazing. And hearing that they are officially over does make me feel a bit better about everything.
"And you don't even have to pack anything up again because I called a moving company earlier this morning and they said they'd take care of it," Harry continued to try and persuade me. I didn't bother interrupting him to let him know that I made up my mind already because he was being so adorable right now, "but I can call them back if you don't want to move in....Oh, and I also cleared space for you in my wardrobe. I'm sure your things can fit. And in my closet, I have a nice shelving unit you can put all your shoes in. Girls like that stuff, right? I don't know Emma...please just think about this again," Harry begged.
I smiled wide, holding back a giggle, "I'll move in with you Harry."
He crushed his lips against mine "Oh, thank god!" Harry exclaimed.
He picked me up and spun me around before setting me back down on the ground. I looked up into his beautiful green eyes, knowing I was going to end up falling deeply in love with him.
"Come to the airport with me?" Harry asked.
"Of course," I assured him.
~*~
The whole way to the airport Harry kept his hand in mine as he drove. We arrived in about thirty minutes and met up with the rest of the gang. I said my goodbyes to Louis, Liam, Zayn, and Niall. But I just couldn't get myself to say goodbye to Harry.
He took both of my hands in his and lifted them up to place a kiss on each, "I promise these next 5 months will fly by. I'll be back home in no time," He tried to comfort me.
"I'm really going to miss you," I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him tight.
"I'll miss you a ton too, Em," Harry replied as he kissed the top of my head, "you're all I'm going to be thinking about."
I stood on my tippy toes and kissed him for the final time.
"Good luck, and have an awesome time," I said as I pulled away.
"Thank you, goodbye love," Harry turned and headed to meet back with the boys.
"Bye," I whispered as I watched the boys disappear. I can't believe I wasn't going to see him for 5 months.
This was going to kill me.
