Harry's POV;

"Zayn, hurry up!"

The release party started an hour ago and Zayn was still in the hotel bathroom fixing his hair and getting ready, unbelievable.

I can't keep waiting, this was driving me insane.

"Hold on, I'll be finished in like ten minutes," Zayn shouted.

I stormed into the bathroom, "Seriously? You said that twenty minutes ago!"

"Dude, it takes time to look this good," he replied while, continuing to fix his quiff in the mirror.

I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. Ten minutes, my ass. It would take him another thirty by the time he was finished with everything. As much as I'd like to stay with him, I can't risk losing the chance I have of talking to Emma. She must already be down at the party, knowing how punctual she is.

"Listen, just text me when you're done Zayn. I'm going down to the party."

"I don't know why you're all worked up and eager to go to this party, but okay," he nodded, combing the side of his head.

I walked out of the room and across the hall to Liam, Louis, and Niall's room. Thankfully they were about ready to go.

"Where's Zayn?" Liam asked as we got into the elevator.

I pressed the button for the first floor, "He's still getting ready."

Louis snorted with laughter, "Typical."

We all laughed along with him and joked around for a bit before the elevator doors opened, revealing the lobby. We shuffled out and headed to the Grand Ballroom of the Plaza Hotel.

Each step closer that we took only made my heart pound faster.

Why was I getting so nervous to see Emma?

I kept replaying in my head the conversation I was hoping we would have, but that only made things worse.

I exhaled nervously, pulling open the main entrance to the ballroom for the guys before I entered myself.

So many people were around, dancing and having a good time as they socialized. From the looks of it, there must have been more than four hundred people here, which sadly was going to make the process of finding Emma a living hell.

"Come on guys, why don't we make our way around the room and talk to people?" I shouted through the music.

"Why?" Niall shouted back, "Let's just chill for a bit and have fun first mate."

There is no time to chill, mate.

I need to find Emma fast before she leaves.

"You're right," I lied smoothly, "let me just go get a drink really quick and I'll meet back with you guys."

Niall nodded, and I excused myself from the rest of the guys.

If they wanted to stand around and chill, fine by me. I didn't come here for that, and I wasn't about to tell them that I was here looking for Emma.

I just hope she's okay, and is willing to talk to me. If she still is upset, then I'd do whatever is humanly possible to make this woman forgive me. I love her too much to do anything incredibly stupid again.

But, then there's that awful thought in the back of my head...what if she refuses to give me a second chance?

What if she realized that she could find a better man?
