As soon as I walked out of the bathroom from my shower, I heard my phone buzzing against the dresser signaling I had an incoming text message.

From: Eleanor

"Hey! Long time no see, let's get coffee at 11?"

It had been two, almost three, weeks since I last saw El, so its safe to say I missed her.

Work took over most of my time which is why I wasn't able to catch up with her, or anyone for that matter.

Luckily, I didn't start work today until 1 so I had some time to finally chill for a bit.

"That sounds good!" I texted back.

I put my phone back down on the dresser, and walked over to the closet to grab a purple sundress and a light black sweater.

By the time I finished putting my makeup on and letting my hair air dry, it was 10:30.

I grabbed my purse and put on my black vans before walking out to my car. I decided to call Harry and see how he was doing, while my car warmed up.

We talked for a bit and he let me know that he'd finally be home next week.

He also said he was really pumped for the show he was going to play tonight which put a huge smile on my face. I love that he enjoys what he's doing. It's such an amazing opportunity for him.

After talking for a few more minutes we said our goodbyes and I headed over to the coffee shop El and I agreed upon.

When I arrived I saw her car in the parking lot, and I pulled in beside her before making my way to the door.

I scanned around the room til I finally found her sitting at a booth near the windows. As soon as she saw me we both smiled wide, and I half ran over to give her a hug.

"I missed you girl!" El said as she hugged me tight.

"I missed you too! How have you been?" I questioned.

"Good! I've been busy with school mostly. Oh my god, can we talk about Italy?!" El looked way to excited.

I giggled and nodded my head,

"Of course! Let me get coffee first," I said before heading over to the counter.

"What can I get for you today?" The barista asked me.

"One grande vanilla latte please," I said back with a smile.

She pressed a few buttons on the cashier in front of her, and then turned her attention back to me.

"That will be 3.50" she said.

I pulled out my wallet to grab a five dollar bill when I felt a presence behind me.

All of a sudden a hand came out of no where from my right and put money down on the counter,

"I'll take care of that," a familiar masculine voice said.

I turned around to face him and was taken aback by how close he really was to me.

His scent filled my senses as I looked up into his ocean blue eyes that were literally inches away from mine.

"Matt," I breathed.

"Hey Em," his minty fresh breath tickled my skin.

I turned back to face the girl behind the counter.

"Here, I have 5 dollars," I held out my hand with the money between my fingers, "I don't need him to pay for my drink."

"Don't be silly. It will be my treat," Matt said against my ear.
