I leaned against the closet frame sighing.
"What's wrong?" My wife asked, "Did they leave you again?"
I stiffened hearing how she said it.
"Yeah.." I say, "Never leave your partner behind, especially in a fire."
She nodded in agreement.
"Yeah. That holds true for marriage." She says.
"I can tell." I say my voice hoarse. I stiffened again even though I was trying to hide it.
"Something else wrong?" She asks worry in her voice. I didn't like it when she got worried about me because she could worry herself sick, over little old me.
"Not really???" I say.
"How long is it going to take for us to be honest with each other?" She said sounding a little frustrated.
"I don't know.." I say quietly.
"Hey.." She said arms around my waist, "If you dont wanna tell me thats fine. I'm just worried."
"I know.." I say half smiling. "I can't sweep..." A small voice shook us both from our own world back to reality.
"I got her this time. Both of them.." I called dibs again on our girls smiling picking Annabeth up, "C'mon lil rascal!"
