I was tucking Annabeth into bed while I held our little girl MK with one arm. I was getting better at this.
"Daddy," Anna says, "Are you mad at mommy?"
I looked at her and smiled.
"No." I say messing with her nose.
"But, she seems sad." Anna says.
"She does?" I say as Mary Katherine cooed and Anna was talking to me.
"Yeah." Anna said when I tilted my head.
"It's a long story Sweetie. Why don't we wait to discuss it when your older ok?" I say.
"Ok." Anna says.
"No more ok??" I say.
"Okay. Goodnight daddy." Anna said.
"Don't let the bed bugs bite!" I teased blowing her a kiss and closed the door quietly, "Now little missy, me you and mommy are going to try to go to sleep tonight ok?"
Mary Katherine smiled giggling when I smiled too.
