17. I Nearly Died?!

"i nearly died?!" i somewhat yell, a day after the girl whos name was Molly told me what happened. everyone jumped, shocked at my random outburst.

"that wanker!" i say, motioning to no one in particular, then grew red. everyone chuckled.

i hadnt taken the news like i had just then when they told me yesterday. i wasnt ready to hear it, so i wasnt as shocked.

until now.

"you all did. in fact, someone actually did." the doctor says as he walks in, a sad smile on his lips. he always seems to sad smile, from what Molly and Jon tell me.

"in about 30 minutes, Kaci will be going into surgery." he once again tells everyone but me. "for what?" jon asks, always concerned. i was growing to like him. had i liked him before?

"there shouldnt be anything wrong with Kaci's ear. were doing surgery to find the damage. it shouldnt take any longer then 2 hours with no harm." he says with a smile and everyone smile in return before im strolled out for prepping.

well this'll be fun.

[ should i keep writing or stop...nah wtf ill keep writing. this is after the surgery cuz you know.. shes sleeping and shit :) ]

When i wake, i feel behind my ear and sigh in relief when there isnt anything bulky behind it. i grin when i click my fingers and i hear it clearly.

"blood was clotting up your stupid earhole." Moo says with an eyeroll and i laugh. "wow thanks moo." i say, shaking my head. i frown at everyone when they all stare at me shocked. Mum and Dad even had their mouths wide open.

"i dont mean to burst your bubble..but youll catch flies soon mum and dad.." i say, chuckling at the end. ah. right.

memory loss. i remember the doctor saying it was for a short time. did the surgery put it back in place? i even remember everything that happened when i couldnt remember..even..i start to blush, confusing everyone and even myself.

this feeling is new in a never felt this before kind of way.

"you remember?" Dad asks and i smile a sad smile. "yes dad i do. i remember you, moo, Jon.., bonnie, tanner and even the crash." i say, shrugging as i said so. i also know Tanner claimed he was Flirtatious. i just knew he wasnt. i dont know how, i just did. and i also know hes gone. i snuck a look on my phone that moo said she left for me everyday incase i wake up and freak that i lost my phone or something

"i cant believe you remember." dad says, excited. i knew i forgot him. i know it broke him. ill make it up to him, somehow.

"get some sleep princess. you need it." i nod and lay down, watching as everyone gets up to leave instead of watching me like they probably have the last couple of weeks. i close my eyes as Jon is the last to leave.

i dont know if it was real, but in my dimming out conscious sleep, i felt a soft kiss planted on my cheek.

only short cuz of writers block lol. i wrote about maybe 5 or 6 chapters in one day? whoop whoop PARTAY! haha kidding..
