15. Life Support

there will be limited special chapters, which will be based around Jon, only fair to let at least both BFF's have a say in this book aye?
》》Jon's POV《《
today was Kaci's somewhat lucky day. in about 10 minutes, everyone will be crowded in this small room, except for Bonnie, to watch the Doctor yank the chord. all we could to was watch if her breathing stayed even, or became slower as she found it hard to breathe.
if so, the doctor would put back on and wait another 2 weeks. if same results, another 2 weeks and so forth until the 4th 2 weeks. if same results, the plug was pulled for good. there would simply be no help unless a miracle happen, and miracles never happened for the sweet girl.
her bruises were now a faint yellow, and her bones were healing well. another 2 weeks and their off. her left arm and leg twitched every now and then.
"are we ready?" the doctor asks, pulling me out of my thoughts and Molly gripping my hand tightly. everyone sucks in a breath and holds it as he pulls out the plug, the noise from the machine dimming until it was completely gone.
we watched her chest rise and fall, her breaths coming slower. every one sighed until the doctor realised something. "wait." he says, as he steps in front of the heart monitor. "she..her heart rate is back to normal.." he murmurs and turns back to us.
"im afraid, the girl is still under a coma. but, she is in no need for life support until further notice." he says with a bright smile and everyone cheers, happy for the semi good news. now we just had to wait for her to wake up!
why couldnt it be in that god damn car wreck?
"shell be okay.." i murmur, a mixture of emotions running through my body and brain, and molly looks at me, her eyes filled with tears and her head nodding in excitement.
"man, i cant wait to tell ive gone without sex for 2 weeks!" everyone laughs, even me.

if Kaci gets married and has kids one day, Jon would defiantly be the favourite uncle!
