Chapter 7

"So, Suga," Jin started.

"Yes?"

"What's with you and [Name]?" The eldest's question caused Yoongi to choke on his lunch. He coughed as the others laughed. Jimin and Hoseok snickered.

"Yeah, Suga. What's with you and [Name]?" Jimin teased.

"What kind of question is that?" Yoongi asked when he finally was able to breathe normally again. The other boys all watched in amusement at the second eldest's reaction.

"Come on, Suga. You've never been interested in someone before. Don't tell me you weren't interested before, because I saw you watching her in math. We're in the same class, remember. This is the first girl you actually became friends with and you guys seem pretty close already. I think you like her," Jin said.

"Like her? Dude, what the hell? We've been friends for less than a week!"

"So what? You've known each other for two years and you're in all of the same classes. Come on! This is the first person you found interesting! She's not just your partner either. She's your friend now. You're saying it's nothing now, but I'm telling you, give it a week or two and you're gonna be asking us for advice." Yoongi paused to think about Jin's words. Some of the things he said were definitely true. Yoongi had never taken an interest in someone. He wasn't the type to approach someone and talk to them. Most of the time he preferred to just sit quietly in the back and stick with the friends he had. His friendship with [Name] was definitely something new and he enjoyed it. Maybe Jin was right. Maybe he was wrong. Only time would tell.

Then again, Jin knew all of the boys better than they knew themselves, with the exception of Taehyung because no one knew what went on in that kid's mind. He knew Yoongi was more than just curious about [Name]. He decided not to press on the subject though. Yoongi would understand soon enough.

"He's right, you know. This is the first time you've been interested in someone," Namjoon added.

"And you guys would make a cute couple!" Hoseok exclaimed, causing the boys to laugh.

"You all are ridiculous," Yoongi muttered. His friends wanted to tease him more, but [Name] and Ange finally walked up to them. Jungkook and Taehyung wiggled their eyebrows at Yoongi. Hoseok probably would have joined if he wasn't busy staring at Ange. Yoongi nudged him and smirked. Hoseok glared at him and shoved him playfully.

Taehyung started playing music on his phone and dancing to it. Hoseok quickly abandoned his task of bothering Yoongi to join the second youngest boy. Jimin soon joined them as the others just stared at them with slight disappointment, questioning why they were all friends. Ange soon joined with a similar expression when a new song came on. [Name] jumped up with excitement and joined the dancers. Yoongi watched her in slight confusion. She danced with the three boys easily. They were acting silly, but he could tell they were all skilled dancers.

The four students paused with the music and looked at all of their friends.

"Wow, fantastic baby," [Name] sang with the music and broke out into a silly dance with the boys. Ange slapped her palm to her forehead. Yoongi sighed exasperatedly.

"Why am I even friends with them?" he muttered.

"You're friends with [Name] 'cause you're in love with her but I don't know about the others," Ange replied smoothly. Yoongi snapped his head up to look at the girl who spared a quick look and smirk in his direction before turning back to her lunch. Jimin and Jungkook laughed and patted Yoongi's back.

"See? We can all see that you guys are so in love." Yoongi grumbled some sort of disagreement before turning away. He watched [Name] and the others finish their dance and then called out to the girl.

"I didn't know you could dance." She shrugged in reply.

"It's the only form of movement that I can sort of do."

"You can walk, can't you?" he said.

"No, I can't." As if to prove her point, [Name] tripped over nothing and fell to the ground. Taehyung, Yoongi and Jin immediately ran up to help her. Ange, on the other hand, just laughed at her clumsy friend.

[Name] stood up without help and hissed in pain when Taehyung poked her knee. He shrunk away when she glared at him. Ange continued to laugh and [Name] pouted. Everyone started to fuss around her, wondering if she was okay. [Name] assured them that it wasn't bad and that she tripped often so this wasn't a first. Of course, as soon as she took another step, she tripped over nothing. The boys heard a high pitched squeak. It took them a moment to realize that the sound had come from [Name]. At this point, Ange could barely breathe anymore. She sat on the ground, holding her stomach and trying to hold in her laughter. Occasionally a small burst of giggles would escape before she clamped her hand over her mouth long enough to calm down and breathe.

"You heard nothing," [Name] growled. Yoongi smirked.

"Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure I heard you squeak."

"You were hearing things." Yoongi opened his mouth to retort but instead of saying something, he laughed when [Name] tripped once again. When she caught herself, [Name] just sat down and pulled her sweater over her head.

"I'm done. I can't walk. I can't do anything. I'm done. Goodbye," she said and hid her face in her knees. Ange grabbed Hoseok's arm as a support to stand up. She was too busy gasping for air to notice the blush that seemed to never disappear from Hoseok's face when he was around her.

Meanwhile, Yoongi continued to tease [Name] about her clumsiness. That is, he continued until Namjoon spoke up.

"Aw, he's teasing her! How cute." [Name] and Yoongi turned to him at the same time, raising their hands and flipping Namjoon off. Ange pointed out their synchronization, earning herself four middle fingers to the face. That only earned the pair more teasing. They cursed and decided to ignore everyone. The whole group fell silent when the door to the roof was opened and a small group of boys came on. They looked at the people already on the roof. The boy in the front noticed [Name] and grinned. The girl, on the other hand, glared at him, her entire composure changing.

"Hey! [Name]! What's up?" He walked up to her and tried to swing his arm around her shoulders. Key word: tried. [Name] flinched and stepped away. He tried to grab her hand but she pulled away yet again.

"What do you want, Hyungjae?" she asked him coldly. Yoongi watched [Name]. She was clearly uncomfortable with this boy by her. When he thought back, he'd seen Hyungjae approach [Name] before, only to be ignored or coldly told to leave. It still seemed strange to Yoongi. [Name] turned into a completely different person around this boy who she seemed to hate.

Hyungjae frowned and put his arm down. Yoongi noticed Ange glaring at Hyungjae as well.

"Ah, cold as always, [Name]. You wound me," he exclaimed dramatically, placing his hand over his heart. The girl rolled her eyes.

"That's wonderful. Now would you kindly fuck off?" she said. He shook his head.

"I just got here. Now you're telling me to leave?" [Name] glared at him and turned to Ange.

"Come on, Ange. Let's leave this creep," she muttered. Yoongi and the others watched them leave. He raised an eyebrow and hesitantly followed the two girls. Hoseok followed, as did the others. Yoongi called out to [Name] and Ange and walked up to them.

"What was that about? Care to explain?" [Name] shook her head.

"Later," she told him. He nodded in understanding. She'd tell him when she wanted to.

They walked in silence until they heard a curse noticed [Name] suddenly disappeared. Yoongi turned back to see her on the floor, holding her ankle. She growled as Ange fell into a laughing fit once more.

"Again?!"
