[Name] walked in looking completely different. Yoongi stared for a moment before almost slapping himself for not noticing right away. It was her hair. [Name] finally redyed it after having her rainbow pastel style for about half a year. She came into class with emerald green mixed with various shades of turquoise and blue. Yoongi liked it, as he did any other color she'd ever came in with.
Throughout the day Yoongi watched as [Name] received compliments from people who never even talked to her. He found it strange, how they all knew who she was and noticed that change, but soon after would forget about her again. She'd exist somewhere in the back of their minds but would never surface. It was a shame. They'd notice how interesting she was. They'd lock themselves in their worlds and never see some simple yet amazing things about everyone around them.
At lunch everyone gathered again. A few comments were made about [Name]'s new hair, mainly Taehyung screaming about it and and Jungkook watching with a raised eyebrow. When they settled down, also known as someone finally putting some tape over Taehyung's mouth, Jimin spot up.
"Hey, [Name] and Ange, can you two do aegyo for us?" he exclaimed suddenly. The two girls stared at him.
"Um..."
"What."
"Please?!" Hoseok joined in. Yoongi shook his head at his friends. Of course Hoseok would want so see Ange's aegyo. But neither [Name] nor Ange looked like the type to do that. Somewhere inside, he wanted to see it as well, but he'd never admit that. Especially when Seokjin already knew and was giving him a look.
"Are you asking me to be cute?" [Name] pointed at herself. Jimin nodded excitedly. [Name] shook her head and laughed. "No way."
Jimin pouted and thought for a moment.
"Oh! How about, if you do it, Suga buys you chocolate?"
"Hey! Don't drag me into this!" Yoongi protested. He was not accepting this. If Jimin wanted to see [Name]'s aegyo he could buy chocolate with his own money.
"Come on, Suga! Don't you want to see [Name] act cute?" he asked. Yoongi glared at the smirking boy. So maybe he did. He wasn't going to give in just because of that. Or so he told himself.
"Fine. Whatever. If that means you'll shut up, I'll do it." He was only agreeing to it so that Jimin wouldn't bother him. Of course. He definitely didn't care at all about seeing [Name] try to act cute.
"I don't know how to act cute. I'm too awkward for that," [Name] muttered. Jimin patted her back; she flinched at the contact.
"Come on! You can do this!" he encouraged her. [Name] looked down, a layer of red starting to take over her cheeks. She took a deep breath and looked up into Yoongi's eyes. Her lips formed a small pout and she tilted her head to the side. Yoongi froze. Where did all the air go? He could have sworn it was all in its place just a second before. Why did he suddenly have trouble breathing? And was that Jungkook snickering in the back? Yoongi swore he'd get back at that kid one day. For the moment he was distracted by the person in front of him.
[Name]'s cheeks kept their red tint as she pressed a finger into one of her cheeks, still pouting.
"Oppa," she whined, a much higher-pitched voice than usual coming out from her lips. Yoongi couldn't move. Did the air in his lungs decide to take a vacation without leaving a replacement behind? How rude. He was left alone to try and get over [Name]'s actions. He never would have thought he'd see her like that.
"Oppa, I'm hungry..." she said, still pouting.
"Holy shit." Jimin stared at the girl. She dropped her hand and the pout, curling up into a ball and hiding her face. She started muttering something that no one could understand. Ange and Yoongi leaned down to hear what she was saying.
"Never again, never again, never again." Yoongi tried poking her. It didn't help. Ange tried doing the same thing. No reaction.
"Come on, [Name], that was great. Did you see Yoongi's reaction? If he wasn't in love with you before, he sure is now." Yoongi glared at Ange. The girl just smirked and continued teasing them. Was there ever a time when she wasn't teasing them? Probably not.
Jimin and Hoseok tried to get Ange to do aegyo as well, but she immediately shot them down. A glare from the girl immediately shut them up, although Hoseok went into a corner to sulk about not being able to see Ange's aegyo. Jimin patted the boy's back. Seokjin snuck up to Yoongi and slapped his back.
"'You all are ridiculous,' huh. You sure about that?" Seokjin smirked. Yoongi hit the eldest's arm.
"Shut up," he grumbled. He was not about to admit that Seokjin might have made an accurate prediction. One day he might have to, but that day was not the one.
Taehyung finally escaped Jungkook's grip and pulled the tape off of his mouth. Instead of screaming like everyone thought he would, Taehyung decided to ask the two girls something.
"Hey, [Name] and Ange, do you want to come over to Kookie's place tomorrow? We're all getting together for my birthday! I mean it's only next week but everyone's going to visit family and stuff 'cause it's so close to New Year's." Namjoon and Seokjin nodded along. Hoseok tried to look normal while staring at Ange, hoping she'll agree. [Name] thought for a moment. Ange started shaking her head but [Name] pulled her friend over and grinned.
"We'll go! Neither of us have plans and if Ange tries to make up an excuse and stay home I'll just drag her there. Although you gotta send me your address, Tae. Just send me a text of something."
Yoongi smiled unconsciously. Maybe the party wouldn't be that bad after all. After all, [Name] would be there too and he never got bored with her around. Of course, it was hard to be bored with all of the boys, but they could be annoying. At least she'd probably be able to distract him from their craziness. Also, maybe [Name] would help him with Hoseok and Ange. Maybe some progress would be made. It'd be an interesting party, definitely.
