Ange hadn't gotten very much sleep. She had an essay she had to rewrite from scratch because her computer had crashed and didn't save it, a packet of problems for math, and this project with Hoseok.

She didn't actually hate Hoseok. She actually really enjoyed his presence. Ange just had a lot of trouble with trusting people. Maybe it hadn't taken [Name] very long to break through her shell, but [Name] was different and they were seven years old.

Another problem was that Ange hated liking people. She'd fall for someone once in a blue moon, but she would fall hard. Oh, and it would take her at least a year to get over them, if not more. Ange did not enjoy that experience. It wasn't like [Name]'s situation with liking people. [Name] would be mildly interested in plenty of people, but since it was only a mild interest, she didn't have many problems getting over people, Ange included. Ange wasn't saying that everything was easier for [Name], because it wasn't. [Name] was afraid of falling for someone who would just leave her, but worse than that, [Name] was terrified of never falling in love or being loved. Because of that, [Name] was very open to experimenting with relationships. She hadn't gone out with many people, but she was very open to the thought of working to develop feelings or trying new things when it came to relationships. No, Ange wasn't worse off. She was just in a very different situation.

Ange's current situation was scaring her because she was starting to like Hoseok. It was hard not to like that beam of sunshine, especially when she spent so much time with him in class and outside of it for that project. Ange was falling for Hoseok. What's worse? He was a very popular person, a social butterfly. He got confessions from students often and was loved by all. Ange wouldn't stand a chance.

On the other hand, [Name] was likely to have finally found someone. Min Yoongi, although he had plenty of choices, was clearly interested in [Name]. Of course she'd never notice that. You couldn't find someone more oblivious--except for maybe Taehyung--to people liking them than [Name]. She'd spot someone who liked a friend or acquaintance from miles away, but when it came to people liking her, [Name] was as blind as a mole. Yoongi definitely liked [Name]. Because he was so famous around the school, Ange knew how he generally acted and she knew that [Name] had changed him ever-so slightly. Yoongi tried to hide the signs, but Ange caught them. She saw those smiles when he thought no one was looking, she saw the way his eyes shifted over to [Name] as soon as the girl did anything, she saw it all.

[Name] would deny it. She would say that Ange is just trying to make her feel better, but Ange knew that by the end of the year, [Name] and Yoongi would be together.

"Hey, Ange!" The said girl snapped out of her thoughts and looked up at Hoseok sleepily.

"Sorry, let's get back to work," she muttered. She looked down at the books in front of her again, trying to figure out what to do next. Hoseok didn't want to work. He poked her. Ange ignored him. He poked her again. Ignored. Again.

"Hoseok, I swear to God, I will bite your finger off," Ange mumbled, still tired. Instead of replying, he reached out to poke her again with a grin. Ange made an attempt to bite his finger off. She missed and continued to go after it. The girl was entirely focused on biting that finger, not paying attention to where she was.

Hoseok's finger drew closer and closer to his face. Ange didn't even notice. A small smirk appeared on his face as he watched the girl before him with amusement.

Ange felt someone's breath on her face. She looked up, trying to figure out where the warm air was coming from, and froze. Her eyes widened as she realized what Hoseok was doing. Their faces were mere centimeters apart, and if Ange had followed Hoseok's finger for another two seconds, they probably would have kissed. She flew back in her chair as Hoseok erupted in laughter.

"Oh my God. I cannot believe you!" the girl exclaimed.

"You should have seen your face!" he said between laughs. Ange glared at him. Her face was painted red with the blush that covered it.

"Priceless!" he continued. Ange forced back a smile at the laughing boy. She would not show that she actually enjoyed the way he acted, but maybe falling for Hoseok wouldn't be so bad after all.
