Yoongi didn't really understand his own feelings. There were plenty of people that could have affected him like [Name]. Of course, there weren't that many people quite like her in their school, but she wasn't exactly one-of-a-kind. There were other people similar to her and other people that would probably give him the same feelings if he knew them. Maybe that was why he developed his stupid crush on the girl. But then why did he notice her? Was it really just her hair and personality? He didn't understand what exactly about her made him pay attention to her and not someone else. What did she do differently?

His train of thought was interrupted by a text from none other than [Name] herself. He checked the time and sighed. It would only take a few minutes to get to [Name]'s house but he'd learned that she usually spends the twenty minutes before someone arrives just waiting, bored out of her mind. Yoongi got into the habit of arriving a little bit early, but not too early.

He texted her back, answering her question of when he was coming with saying that he was leaving the house already. He grabbed his keys and called out to his parents that he was leaving. Yoongi texted [Name] as he walked. It was a really nice day. It was partially cloudy so there wasn't too much sun, but it was also warm and a soft breeze brushed through the trees. [Name] replied. He walked a little faster.

Only a few minutes later he finally arrived, not bothering to knock. [Name] left the door open when she was expecting someone and she said she liked when people felt comfortable.

"[Name]!" he called out. The sound of something crashing filled the house for a moment before he heard a whispered "fuck." Yoongi rolled his eyes and walked into [Name]'s kitchen. As expected, he found her on the floor with a bowl and a thankfully still closed bag of sugar. He raised an eyebrow as she waved to Yoongi the moment she spotted him.

"Yo!" [Name] greeted. "Welcome to my humble abode. The parental units are at work, so no need to worry about them. Angel is probably gonna be a bit late, as usual, and Hoseok will probably be with her so..."

"Yeah, I know. Do you have the recipe? We could start prepping everything," Yoongi offered. [Name] nodded and pulled out a sheet of paper. She skimmed over the instructions and put it down on a chair. Yoongi really doubted she'd look at it again. [Name] preferred reading over instructions once and then doing everything from her memory to the best of her ability. Usually whatever she did turned out fine, so Yoongi just went with it.

He helped her find all of the ingredients and measure everything out. Just as they were finishing up, Ange and Hoseok barged into the house. Ange waved to [Name] and Yoongi while Hoseok just ran straight in.

"We've practically finished everything while waiting for you," [Name] laughed. Ange apologized and immediately asked what she could do to help. [Name] just gave her a big bowl and helped her start mixing everything together. Yoongi and Hoseok stepped back and started chatting about a song they were writing for their group, but the girls didn't mind. At least they'd have an excuse to eat more of the cookies.

At one point, [Name] couldn't stand how open Yoongi and Hoseok were, just standing there defenselessly. She took a small spoon, gathered a little bit of cookie dough on it, snuck over to Yoongi, and smeared it across his cheek. He jumped up, shocked, and glared at [Name]. She laughed and hid behind Ange who just rolled her eyes.

"What was that for?" Yoongi asked.

"For not helping us bake," [Name] answered. Yoongi knew she didn't actually really care, but he didn't say anything about it. When she turned around to put the dough on the baking sheets, Yoongi snuck up behind her and scooped a little bit of baking dough onto his finger. He quickly wiped it on her cheek and [Name] spun around, looking ready to bite his finger off.
