Chapter Twenty Two

*Louis' P.O.V*

Two and a half hours later and we are still here!

Why are we still here you might ask?

Well the answer is simple, the person doing the interview talked for about and hour and then she decided that she wanted to do solo interviews, that go for half and hour might I add, and then at the end do a group interview.

Right now, I'm waiting for Harry to finish so I can go and be interviewed. And I'm a nervous wreck. I know that she will ask about Mimi even though we all, when I say all I mean the boys and Paul, distinctly told her not to bring Mimi up because it will just end badly.

I've been trying to calm myself down in the hopes that if she does ask, I can get through it without breaking down in tears. I know I'll cry but I'm hoping that I won't end up sobbing and unable to talk to her. The fans have already seen that many times over the past four months.

"You'll be okay mate. Don't worry about it," Niall says while sitting down next to me.

"She'll bring her up Ni and I can't deal with that," I mutter.

"Yes, she may bring her up but then you have a right to walk out on her because we all told her not to bring Mi- her up," he explains, cutting himself off when he almost says Mimi's name.

When the boys are around me, saying her name is sort of a taboo thing to do. They don't do it. Not ever. The only reason is because it always ends up with me crying and probably breaking something. It's not a good thing so the boys sort of made it a rule not to bring her up unless it was absolutely necessary.

"I guess," I sigh.

We both sit there in silence, in our own deep thoughts, waiting for Harry to stop flirting with the interviewer. I think he might be doing it on purpose, to buy me time so I can prepare myself for the interview. Even though I've already had an hour and a half to get myself ready.

"I'm sorry Lou. I tried to drag it out as long as possible but she basically kicked me off," Harry explains when he comes off about ten minutes later.

"It's okay Haz. At least you tried," I mumble while standing up and patting his shoulder.

I walk over to the side of the stage, nerves running through my body. I never used to get nervous before an interview but now I can't help but shake. I'm just scared that they will bring up Mimi or that I'll break down in tears then and there. It's not the best feeling in the world that's for sure.

"You'll do fine Lou," Liam encourages from behind me.

"Knock 'em dead mate," Harry whisper yells.

"Remember, if she brings her up, you are allowed to just get up and walk off," Niall repeats.

"And now we have Louis Tomlinson," the interviewer says to the crowd, giving me my cue to walk on stage.

I place a fake smile on my face and walk onto the stage, waving as I go. There are heaps of screams when they see me and they don't die down until I am sitting on the couch with the interviewer telling everyone to quieten down.

"Hi Louis, how are you?" she asks me once the crowd is quiet.

"I'm okay Eliza," I say as convincingly as I can.

"That's very good. So, are you excited for your break?" she questions.

Not really. It will only be good if Mimi came home, "Yeah, I'm excited. It will be good to have a break after these hectic couple of years."

Yes, I know. I lied. But I have to if I want to get through this without having certain questions asked. I know that the fans don't deserve to be lied too but it's for the best. They would understand.

"Louis, I know that there are a few things going on in your life right now, do you want to talk about them?" Eliza says carefully.

I let out a long sigh as I run my hand down my chin, "Not really Eliza. I'm sure everyone already knows what's going on so they don't really need me to elaborate."

"But they don't know your point of view. They don't know how you are feeling about all of this," she pushes on.

"That's because how I'm feeling is sort of private and I'm sure that they understand that I don't want to talk about this," I explain, trying to keep my cool.

"So Louis, we all know that her disappearance hit you hard. I think we are all wondering, did you have feelings for Mimi?" she asks while looking behind her.

I turn my head to the screen behind us to see a picture of her smiling. Her blonde hair is pulled into two braids down the sides of her head, her pale skin glowing in the bright light. I feel my heart rate pick up at seeing her picture.

And then reality hits me. I feel the tears in my eyes and on my cheeks, my breath coming out shaky and broken. I look over at the crowd before standing up and walking off the set as quickly as I can. I can hear Eliza calling after me but I can't be out there.

I take a deep breath, trying to compose myself for a few seconds to speak into the mic that is connected to my shirt, "You said you would't talk about her. It's my right to not have to sit through this."

And then I fall onto my knees, placing my head in my hands as I break into sobs, not caring if the microphone is still on. I let the tears run down my cheeks as I cry into my hands, trying to ignore the boys trying to comfort me.

I miss her so much and it's killing me inside.

I'm not sure how much longer I can hold on.

So I am again, updating this on my phone because our internet is still down. I can't believe it. It was working for a few minutes this morning and then it went down and now I can't use it. I literally can't do anything. It's ridiculous.

So here is another sad chapter :( poor LouLou.

QOTC: When do you think Mimi will be coming back, if she comes back...?
