"To my knowledge, It seems as Jose has managed escaped our prison facility." Doranbolt said as he rested his head on his hands.
"How could he do that?" Rogue asked sitting on the chairs with his team.
"There's no possible way he could've done it on his own." Lucy added.
"And he didn't. From the damage on his cell it seems like he was given help to escape. These pictures are the aftermath of his cell. The cell door was sliced clean through. The guards are in immediate care due to internal bleeding some weren't as lucky to make it. " He placed the pictures in front Lucy who passed them to Sting then to Natsu and so on.
"What do we know so far?" Sting asked.
"One: He's not alone. Judging by the damage done. Two: Possible Location. The messenger said they were ambushed on the Council route 93 for messengers, then taken east into a forest. Three: Strong Numbers. His memory is bit foggy, but he says he remembers seeing the inside of a building flooded with hooded people."
"So we're most likely dealing with an army?" Natsu said as he passed the pictures to Rogue.
Doranbolt nodded, " We could have a 'small' war on our hands."The team all flinched at the word war. After the major war with tartaros, they were sure they didn't want to go through it again. Surely none wanted a tough battle if the saddened memories would repeat once more.
"Because of this possible war we need you all to help us. We don't want many involved since we are still recovering from the last battle. I'm counting on you all very much to help me prevent this from happening." Doranbolt spoke sincerely.
"You want us to stop a war." Sting said quietly.
"That's a lot to be putting on some guild mages, don't you think?" Rogue said.
"You all are not ordinary mages, the council has kept tabs on everyone you." The door to Doranbolt's office opened as a man with a cross like mark on his head walked in.
"Chairman Hyberion!" Doranbolt quickly stood up and bowed as the man came closer to where his desk was sitting. The team looking at the man in disbelief. This man was not only the chairman of the magic council, but he was also one of the 10 wizard saints.
"Please excuse this meeting. I was not informed of your arrival Chairman." He said quickly.
"We are not being informed on many things it seems." Hyberion said as he recalled seeing the messenger in the infirmary. He let out a heavy sigh. "As it seems my head of defence has taken matters into his own hands, I commend you for that, please sit." He directed to Doranbolt still bowing.
"You all are mages of great powers, he would have called you if he didn't think you S-Class mages could not handle it correctly." He continued. The group looked at him in shock. They were called powerful, in a way, by a great wizard saint.
"If it is an army, we're outnumbered greatly." Rogue said.
"I wouldn't expect you all to do this alone. That's why we're going to this strategically. Since the council last fall, I've had new ideas on how to make the council even stronger. One of the many ideas Ive had are Specialty Teams. The multiple team of mages are all powerful each trained under the council's best." Hyberion said as he placed a paper in Doranbolts hand.
"I trust you all will stop this catastrophe with the teams of mages I leave under your orders. They are already aware." As those were his last words as he walked out the door to who knows where.
"Teams under our orders?" Lucy said as Doranbolt unfolded the paper in his hands.
"You'll be giving orders to a few of the council's teams. They are relatively new, but they are very well coordinated." Doranbolt said walking to the office door. "Please excuse me for a moment." He then exited the office leaving the group dumbfounded. Silence once again filled the room, until one spoke up.
"Do you think we can do it?" Lucy asked quietly.
"Im sure we can. We a lot on the line. We'll do fine, Don't worry" Natsu said with a smile reassuring Lucy, which she gladly returned.
Doranbolt then entered the room with 5 girls following him.
"These are the ones the Chairman spoke of. The ones you'll be under order, i'm sure you all know them." He said towards the group of girls. The team stood up and greeted the group of girls.
"Hi, I'm Violet Storm, I'm a Celestial Mage." A girl with light purple hair and hazel eyes introduced shaking Lucy's hand.
"I'm Fawn, I use Crystal Dragon Slaying." A young girl close to the age of Wendy said shyly looking at her feet. Another girl with long lavender hair and bright green eyes came behind Fawm and placed a hand on her head. "She's shy. I'm Chrystal Johnson, mage of Time Arc at your service." She said with a smile.
"Hey, I'm Lily Bloodfox, a Water dragon slayer." She introduced her black hair adorning her light blue eyes.
"Titania Vermilia, Elemental Make Mage," An older girl says with shining blue hair and dark eyes said calmly. "Our team specialty is Infantry."She said emotionlessly.
"Infantry, huh? I already have a plan." Sting said looking to Rogue who nodded in response. Lucy oddly eyed the two before she knew what they were thinking.
"What are they talking about? Natsu asking the questions that was many of the minds in the room.
"Just go along with it." Lucy groaned as Sting explained a poorly thought plan that would obviously need adjustments.
