"Do you feel like a young god? You know the two of us are just young gods. And we'll be flying through the streets with the people underneath-"
"Okay! Okay, I'm up!" I groaned at my alarm clock. Echoes of 'Young God' by Halsey played in my room as I sprang up from my bed to turn it off.
"Turn that down!" One of the girls yelled from the other room. "Let me sleep!"
"Yeah, yeah." I rolled my eyes at the immaturity of my bandmate.
My phone started to play a different song. 'Grown' by our friend's Little Mix sang, indicating that I was getting a phone call. I picked it up and read the caller ID.
CamEELAH is calling you
I pressed the answer button and held the phone to my ear. "What is it?"
"Wow, good morning to you too." Camila joked.
"Aren't you in the house? Why'd you call?" I asked, walking down the hallway to the kitchen.
"No, I ended up falling asleep in the studio yesterday while recording." She replied casually, as if that was a normal thing to do. "Long story short, they want you over at the studio."
"Why? I don't start recording until Tuesday."
"I don't know, Lou. I really don't." Camila sighed. "They seem serious about this. Like 'Simon-Serious', no joke."
I laughed at the recall of 'Simon-Serious'. It was an adjective we had made up to show when a situation was -well, serious. We made it up about two months after we released 'Miss Moving On' after getting a call from Simon saying how proud he was, in the most dull manner.
"Whatever, I'll see you there." I said and hung up. I was out the back door when I had realized I forgot to change out of my pajamas. "Shit!" I hissed and ran back inside. I threw on a large flannel and black leggings.
Walking out the door again, I got the keys to the car and made my way to the recording studio.

I walked into the building. I went up to the front desk.
"Hello, Lauren!" The employee greeted. "What brings you here?"
"I have a meeting with Mr.Greene." I stated simply. "Can you direct me to his office?"
"Down the hallway, second door to your left." She smiled. "Will that be all for today, ma'am?"
I chuckled at her politeness. "You act as if your my assistant or something. Thanks so much, Amanda."
I walked to Mr.Greene's office. My palms slowly started to sweat as I took a step closer to the room. When I finally reached the door, I sighed and yanked it open. Instead of seeing Mr.Greene, I found an uncomfortable Cabello, a Maori boy, and a tall Aussie blonde.
The Maori boy tapped Camila on the shoulder and whispered in her ear. Camila smiled and got up from her seat. "Guys, this is Lauren. You can call her Lou if you-"
"Only my friends call me that, Camz." I interjected.
"Well, you're gonna have to get used to them," she said awkwardly. "They'll be here a lot."
"Oh, that's Calum," she continued, pointing to the brunette. "And that one is Luke." Camila pointed to the blonde.
"Cool, I guess." I shrugged, taking a seat next to Camila. "Where's Mr. Greene?.."
"He'll be here." Camila mumbled.
"You said that thirty minutes ago." He blonde, Luke, stated.
"Well, how am I supposed to know when he's coming back?" She snapped at him. "He told us to wait here and that's what we're doing."
Luke put his hands up in defense. "Chill, mate."
Camila gave Luke one of her 'I'd-kill-you-if-there-weren't-any-witnesses-right-now' stares. I sighed and slumped back in my chair. What a great way to start the day.
Said no one ever.

Fanfiction"We'll do it." Those three words triggered the start of this entire adventure. It's amazing how those three words meant so much to this. Why Luke agreed? Beats me. Did I take anyone's advice? No one gave me any.
