The seconds on the clock seemed to tick faster and faster. Song by song, the crowd continued to roar. I was fucking restless, how do fans manage to stay up without sitting down?

Nia, the pink haired (with orange tip, she had just added them today) drummer greeted me. She didn't seem as bad as Rena. But.. She did seem a little, how do I say this?

Fake. She seemed fake.

It looked as if she rehearsed everything she said. Every time she would stutter, she seemed frustrated. Her smile looked forced. The worst part? I'm not 100% on this, but it looks as if she planned the conversation out. Nia could finish my sentences, something a stranger normally can't do.

Miranda turned to me. "Hey, why so glum?"

"Glum? I'm not glum, whatever that means. Thinking never hurt, eh?" I rambled. "You know people think a lot actually. I mean, where do you think babies come fro-"

"Woah, I'm not giving you the bird and the bees talk." I laughed as she continued. "Look, I know the Lovelis can be scary, you haven't even met their mom, but they won't attack soon. Give them some time and you won't be as scared."

I chuckled a bit at the advice. "Don't worry, I'm adjusting. They don't scare me.. Not very much at least."

She sighed then nodded. "You sure are brave, Jauregui."

"Oh, I know."

"Pizza?" Luke suggested, looking at the few suggestions of food that was laid out for them.

I stood awkwardly as served me a slice. He didn't talk as much as he did before, and his smile wasn't clear on his face. There was something wrong, no doubt. I smiled and grabbed the slice, shrugging off the diet I was supposed to be on. "Everyone likes pizza. So why not?"

He laughed silently, grabbing a slice of his own

He laughed silently, grabbing a slice of his own. Clinking his pizza toward mine. "Yeah, everyone likes pizza. Cheers!"

Should I ask about Rena? Would that make this awkward? No, no let him bring it up, but wouldn't that be a little weird-

My thoughts were interrupted, by the devil herself.

Rena.

"Hey, babe!" She giggled as she embraced Luke. I looked toward Camila, who although seemed to be engaged to talking to both Calum and Michael she was paying attention to the conversation happening all the way across the room. As Rena pulled away from Luke, she looked at me. "Oh, hi. Uh- Lauren right?"

"Um, yeah.." I said, confused. She's playing right?

"I didn't properly introduce myself earlier! I'm Rena!" She held out her hand. "I'm a huge fan of your music!"

"O-Oh." I was a bit taken back by her sudden niceness. "Are you sure? Like really?"

"Pure harmonizer!" She laughed

"Pure harmonizer!" She laughed. "Hey do you mind? Can I get a picture of you? Not like -with me- I'm not picture perfect like you always are!"

She pulled out a retro-ish camera. "Ready? Smile!" The light flashed and the picture was taken.

Luke awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. He mumbled that he was going to talk to Ashton, or look for RJ. He trudged away. Rena looked back at me.

"Hmm, while you're here.." She sighed, turning back to the table. "Why don't you have a couple of drinks? Little harmless fun, eh?"

She pushed it closer. I examined the drink, just before taking it. It was pink, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable.

"What is that?" I asked, pushing the mysterious drink farther away.

She shrugged. "A cup of intoxication."

"N-No thanks. I don't drink."

"That's such a lie." Rena giggled, pulling out a plastic bag from her purse. "We have tequila, vodka,
I exclaimed, stepping back.

"Lauren, bestie don't be a pussy! Cmon!" That's when it hit me. She was intoxicated. Wasted. Gonna have a hell of a hangover. I desperately looked over to Camila for help, but because of fate, she wasn't even in the same room as me anymore.
