I walked up to the large arena. It looked almost the same as everyone we've played before, but the energy was somehow different. Looking back at Camila, she smiled brightly then walked up and knocked the door loudly. The door swung open and we were met by Ashton.
"Hey, Lauren and Camila. Right?" He asks, pointing at us.
"Yeah, when does the show start?" Camila beamed. She had been waiting for this all week, and was no doubt counting down the minutes to see her new best friends' performance.
"Why do you call it a show?" Calum asked, walking up to us three. "Makes it sound like some boring high school play."
"Sorry." Camila rolled her eyes. "Concert, when does it start?"
"I reckon twenty minutes, right Ash?" Calum turned to his Aussie friend. "Didn't Hey Violet finish playing?"
"They're playing their last song, after that we go on in ten." Ashton corrected.
Camila tilted her head to the right, noticing the three girls and one boy running from off the stage, yelling "That was an awesome show!", then embracing each other into a hug.
"Well, Ashton was wrong." Calum chuckled, heading over to the group to say his greetings.
"Boo!" A familiar red head popped into vision. Camila jumped back, and I (as usual) was not affected by this.
"Fuck you, Lauren." Michael huffed, his guitar strapped onto him.
"What? I'm sorry I'm not easily scared like this one." I said, poking Camila's side.
She crossed her arms. "Well, I'm sorry I don't have a heart of steel."
A blonde girl with a dark-haired girl laughed as they walked toward us. Luke trailed behind them, slowing down due to the guitar tangled on him. The blonde girl smiled. The other narrowed her eyes at me then rolled them.
"Hey, Lauren!" Luke greeted from behind them. "Hi, Camila."
"This is Miranda and Rena." Luke continued, gesturing to the two girls.
"Hi." Miranda perked up while Rena only waved, not even a smile on her face.
"I'm Camila, that's Lauren." The Cuban beside me replied.
"Hey." I waved. The whole arena suddenly seemed empty, as if it was only I and Rena. The boys dashed to stage without saying goodbye to any of us. Miranda and Camila seemed to click perfectly, their sass and niceness making them instant friends.
"Hey, Lauren." Rena put all her weight on one foot and crossed her arms. "I'm Rena, Luke's girlfriend. You're his publicity girlfriend right?"
She really wants to play this game?
Okay, I see how it is.
"Well, I'm Lauren. And you won't be dating him for long."
Rena threw her head back, laughing bitterly. "That's funny. Really."
I titled my head innocently, "What do you mean? It's a fact."
She pouted, "You really think you could steal him away? He took my band on tour with his. Just so he wouldn't miss me too much."
"Well, he better find a new opening act." I shot back. "You'll be over and out when I'm done with you."

Fanfiction"We'll do it." Those three words triggered the start of this entire adventure. It's amazing how those three words meant so much to this. Why Luke agreed? Beats me. Did I take anyone's advice? No one gave me any.
