"How the hell did you wander off that far?" The four girls continued to ask questions as I continued to answer them.
"I don't know, it just happened."
"You walked, like what six cities away? The fuck, man!" Normani exclaimed from her seat. "And I get tired after running half a mile!"
Chuckling slightly, "I just got caught up in my thoughts."
"Yeah, what were you planning," Camila put her finger on her chin cheekily, "you and Luke's wedding?" I hit her playfully, shaking my head and yelling a "no" at the Cuban teen.
She stuck out her tongue. "Luke and Lauren sitting in a tree,"
I scoffed at her immature nursery rhyme. "You're a child, Cabello. Your little sister is smarter than you!"
Dinah didn't seem to be too pleased with the meeting with Luke, "You're cheating on Justin?.."
"What, no!" Truth be told, I had completely forgotten to tell Luke about my relationship that wasn't forced underneath management (or more particularly Zach Greene?) but I don't think any conflict could come of it.
Dinah remained unconvinced, she was always quite protective of her childhood best friend and barely allowed me to hang out with Zayn, who was in fact, my childhood best friend. "Then what's Luke?"
"A human?" Camila said, a tint of humor and sarcasm in her voice. "What the else would he be? A penguin?"
"You'd be surprised.." I said under my breath.
"You know what I meant," Dinah smirked at her. "Hood."
"Excuse me?" Camila got up from her leather seat.
"You heard me."
"You did not just do that."
"But I did."
"Okay, okay that's enough." I cleared my throat for their attention. "It seems like I missed something regarding Calum? But I'm just going to skim past that.."
Dinah narrowed her eyes at me. "Answer the question. Why the hell are you out with some Australian guitar player when you're dating a Canadian version of Bruno Mars!"
"Wait a minute, Canadian Bruno Mars? What the fuck-"
"That's not the freaking point!" Dinah suddenly snapped. "Answer the damn question already!"
I turned to Camila. She nodded at me and got up, "Hey remember Calum-"
"Sit the fuck down Cabello, I don't give a crap."
Camila's lips pursed into a thin line as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Would you stop being a bitch for one second and listen?"
"What she means is that, you-you should chill." Ally perked up.
"Okay, fine." Dinah's voice was still laced with sass and rudeness.
"So, Luke is just a guy that management forced me to date for publicity," I watched Dinah's eye roll and held one finger up, "hold on, just let me explain further. The 5SOS fam and the harmonizers have been at war for a few years for whatever reason. I'm guessing management started this little project because they didn't want the two top artists on their label with warring fandoms? I don't know. It was bad publicity for both bands and this was the solution. Weird I know, but neither Camila or I could object or Fifth Harmony and 5 Seconds Of Summer would be dropped from the label and-"
"You should take a breath." Normani stopped me. "You're getting paler than usual."
Camila continued the story, "Both bands would be dropped from the label, and then we'd have to drop 5H2 late, then the harmonizers would hate us, then we wouldn't have a fan base. Then Fifth Harmony would be over and it'll be all our fault."
Dinah's eyebrow raised. "Okay.. That was, uh, a lot."
I nodded. "Yeah, 'Mila dug way too deep into the problem although.."
The Cuban shook her head, "Nope, that's exactly what will happen if we don't do this."
"So that's why you're doing it?.." Dinah asked, clearly still confused.
"It's for the fans, technically."
"Yeah, sure."
"Girls? Hate to ruin your discussion but we have arrived at a rest stop, you should get some fresh air and cool off." Our bus driver says, whom we called 'Bored' because of the so many times he had said "I'm bored," to us.
"Cool." Ally shot up from her seat and raced off the bus. The other four of us followed. I took a second to observe the surrounding. There were children who burst out of their cars, as if they haven't been outside for ages. Parents smiled and took pictures of their precious children. Some took pictures or selfies of or with the area. Others rushed to the vending machine or the bathroom.
A little girl tugged on my sleeve gently. "E-Excuse me, miss?"
I bent down to match the height of what looked like a fifteen year old. Hi, how can I help you?"
"Can me and my sister get a picture? She really likes your group." The little girl smiled adoringly. "I like it too."
"Sure, where's you sister?"
"She ran because she got scared." She gazed at me as if I was some sort of legend, "I'll go get her if you want."
"Okay sure get your parents too perhaps." I smiled assuredly and ran a hand through the child's bright, blonde hair. "I'll stay right here."
"Okay!" She said and ran off.
I'm not sure where she went, but she didn't come back.

Fanfiction"We'll do it." Those three words triggered the start of this entire adventure. It's amazing how those three words meant so much to this. Why Luke agreed? Beats me. Did I take anyone's advice? No one gave me any.
