I stirred in my sleep as the sun burst through the curtains. I groaned, squeezing my eyes shut, not wanting to wake up yet and heard someone chuckle, the body I was wrapped around vibrating along with the sound. I opened one eye and looked up at Elijah, who was already awake. How long had I been using him as a cuddly toy?

"Good morning," He smiled.

"No, don't say out loud, you'll make it real," I whispered, closing my eyes again in attempt to fall back to sleep. I wasn't sure whether or not to move from the position I was in with Elijah or not. Would it offend him? Am I making him feel uncomfortable?

"Now now, Sleeping Beauty, it's time to get up," Elijah replied.

I kept my eyes closed as I spoke, "Sleeping Beauty was awoken by a Prince's kiss."

I felt Elijah move, and opened my eyes to see him millimetres from my face. My breathing hitched as I felt the strange familiarity and comfort of his closeness. "Are you my Prince?" I whispered, feeling a strong urge to kiss him.

The corners of his mouth lifted into a small smile, as he glanced between my eyes and my lips. I felt like my heart was in my mouth as he leant down, closer to me. I could almost feel his lips on mine. I wanted to feel his lips on mine.

Buzz.

We jumped apart as his phone sprang to life. He coughed and went to answer his phone in the other room. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. What was I doing? I'm supposed to be a heart broken wreck, my boyfriend - or ex, now - kissed another girl behind my back. I'm supposed to be devastated, not sharing a bed with an Original vampire.

I climbed out of the bed and realised that I had slept in the only clothes that I had with me and no way of washing them. I felt completely gross. Shrugging I grabbed Elijah's shirt off the sofa and pulled my own top off. I left my jeans and underwear on and put his white shirt on, buttoning it up but leaving a few undone at the top so it wasn't choking me. I rolled up the long sleeves to the elbows and tied my hair up.

"Elijah," I called out, " You got any blood here?"

I walked into the lounge and saw he was still on the phone. He glanced at me and gestured to the kitchen, I nodded and went to help myself. I opened up the fridge and grinned to myself, seeing that it was full of blood bags, obviously stolen from a hospital. I grabbed one out and rummaged through the cupboards until I found a straw. I jabbed it through the bag and jumped up on to the counter as I drank.

"How are you feeling?" Elijah asked, walking in - obviously still topless.

"Good," I shrugged, sipping on my blood.

"Did destroying my barn and your phone help you?" He raised an eyebrow and dropped the remaining fragments of my phone on the counter.

"You know what, it actually did, because now I don't have to receive anymore stupid messages from the jackass that cheated on me, and I managed to get my anger out without hurting anyone," I replied, hopping down off the counter. "And if you've come in here to lecture me, then you can back off because I am not in the mood."

A look of guilt crossed Elijah's face and he grabbed my forearm as I went to walk out of the kitchen. "I'm sorry about Jeremy..."

"It's not your fault, Elijah. I wasn't upset yesterday and I'm not upset now, I'm angry. I'm angry that he has the audacity to blame me being a vampire as the reason he cheated on me, as if it was my fault. I didn't choose to be a damn vampire," I felt my anger building up in side me and I threw the empty blood bag in the bin before storming out of the house, not wanting to break anything.

I walked into the woods and screamed as loud as I could, trying to get the anger out of me. "I have an idea," Elijah was suddenly behind me, his hand on my shoulder.
