When I woke up my neck ached like hell. I guess my neck can still be broken then, maybe we're not that invincible. I groaned as I sat up and looked around. "Look who's finally awake," Klaus smirked as he walked closer to me.
"Where are we?" I asked, noticing we weren't in the bar anymore. We were in a forest.
"Still in Tennessee," Klaus shrugged. "I still have business around here to attend to."
"Does that business include me?" I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Partly," He answered with a mysterious look in his eyes. "Now get up, I've carried you this far, now it's your turn."
I stood up and looked around to see Stefan carrying the body of the werewolf Klaus had sent into transition the previous night. Stefan's face remained blank as I examined him. He was gone, my brother was gone. "What am I doing here?"
"Well, thanks to our friend Ray here, we've found ourselves a pack of werewolves," Klaus smirked and gestured in front of us where a large group of people were camping. They hadn't noticed us yet.
"You're trying to make an army," I realised suddenly. That's why he was creating hybrids - or trying to. "But what am I doing here?"
"Well, you're supposed to stop me doing evil things, and I don't want to be stopped. I can't kill you, so my best option is to get you to help me," Klaus shrugged.
"And what makes you think I will help you?" I narrowed my eyes at Klaus.
"Well, as you're already aware, I have your boyfriend and your brother. You do as I say and I'll think about releasing them both," Klaus smirked, knowing he had me.
"Fine, but I want proof that you have Elijah," I crossed my arms defiantly.
Klaus rolled his eyes at me, "I'll give you proof when you've proved yourself trustworthy."
I glared at him, "Okay then, what are we doing just standing here? Let's go and introduce ourselves."
Klaus grinned, "That's my girl."
"I'm not your girl, so don't say that again or I'll rip out your spleen," I growled angrily.
"Okay love," Klaus raised his hand in defence and walked past me, Stefan ahead of him with the werewolf.
Stefan dumped the werewolf on the floor in front of the pack. "Ray!" A girl ran forward to see if her friend was alright. She looked up at Stefan, with a scared look on her face, "Who are you?"
I rolled my eyes and looked at Klaus, "A better question is who is he?"
"My sentiments exactly, Becs," Klaus smirked and stepped forward, "I'm Klaus."
"You're the hybrid," A man stepped back in horror.
"Oh so you've heard of me then," Klaus grinned, loving the fear he put into the werewolves in front of him just by saying his name. He loved the power.
"That will make this easier," I added, standing next to Klaus. If I was going to have a chance in getting Elijah back I needed to convince Klaus he could trust me. I needed to be like him.
"What have you done to him?" The girl who ran to him asked shakily.
"Oh nothing much," Klaus shrugged.
"He's in transition to become a hybrid," I replied, getting bored of Klaus's games. He loved to make a show out of everything.
He gave me an irritated look before continuing. "It's fascinating really," Klaus smirked seeing their scared faces. "A werewolf who isn't beholden to the moon and and vampire who doesn't burn into the sun."
