I woke up the next morning next to Amy in her bed, after having stayed over to make sure she was okay and didn't do anything stupid on impulse. She was still asleep when I woke, so I quietly went into the kitchen and found the ingredients I needed to make pancakes. Pancakes were what we used to always make for breakfast whenever we stayed over the others house.

"Morning," I smiled as I walked in with the tray of pancakes and two glasses of orange juice on it. She had woken up at this point.

"Mm," She grinned, "My favourite." We both sat up on the bed and tucked into the breakfast, moaning at the foods tastiness. When we were all done, I took the tray into the kitchen and tidied up whilst Amy had a shower and got dressed.

"I'm not going to do anything stupid, you know. All I'm going to do is go and see the witch coven and ask some questions," Amy said, when she was dressed.

"Okay, Amy, I know you wouldn't do anything silly, especially not in your condition," I glanced down at her stomach, where her hand was protectively resting. "You have my number if you need anything, just please keep me updated and informed."

"I will, thank you for understanding and being there for me," She hugged me tightly, "But you had better get home to Elijah before he gets too worried."

"I will," I laughed, stepping out of the front door. "Oh and another thing, please don't use magic whilst you're in New Orleans, because Marcel will know and he will take action."

"Yes, I know," Amy nodded and hugged me once more before she closed the door and I headed to the Mikaleson house.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and saw I had over twenty messages from Elijah and over thirty missed calls. Most of the messages consisted of him asking where I was and if I was alright. I opened up a new message to reply.

To Elijah; I was with someone, I'm fine - or is it only okay for you to spend countless hours with someone else and ignore me the entire time?

I probably sounded like a utter cow, but I didn't care. He needed to realise how much it hurt and annoyed me for him to be all over Hayley. Just because she's pregnant with Klaus's baby doesn't mean he can ignore me all the time. It's Klaus's baby, not Elijah's.

As I walked through the town and passed Marcel's house I heard familiar voices inside. It was Hayley, Rebekah and Elijah. What were they doing there?

"You want to help me, help my people, please," I heard Hayley said in a quiet voice. It fell silent for a moment before Rebekah and Elijah walked out of the house.

"And here I was on my way to see you, try and sort things out between us and where do I find you? Still at the beck and call of the wolf," I rolled my eyes. He froze as he took in my appearance, his face revealing nothing. "Do you like her? Is that what it is? Do you not want to marry me anymore?"

"I'm going to leave you two to it," Rebekah muttered and stepped aside.

"No," Elijah shook his head, stepping closer to me and resting his hand on my cheek. "I love you Rebecca, and I want to marry you more than anything... But Hayley is carrying Klaus's child, she needs to be protected."

"Klaus's baby, not yours Elijah," I pulled away from his hand.

"I'm sorry, we will speak about this properly later," Elijah sighed, "I need to get out the bayou and help the wolves, Klaus has ordered a wolf hunt."

"And once again you put her before us," I nodded, feeling tears raise in my eyes. "It's nice to know how important I am to you, how important we are."

"Elijah," Rebekah called out.

"I'm sorry," He kissed my forehead before running after his sister.
