So I had had an extremely strange morning. After seeing Jeremy yesterday we decided that maybe it would be a good idea to do some researching on the vampire-werewolf hybrids to see what sort of powers I had obtained, because frankly I felt the same as before and had no idea what the differences were in me. Of course, I knew I could change into a werewolf whenever I wanted to. I hadn't tried fully changing yet because I had heard it was really painful, but I had tried changing my eyes into wolf eyes which was really cool.
Due to this decision last night, Jeremy said he would speak to Bonnie and see if we could read through these Grimoires and other books that they'd found in the witch-house Bonnie had syphoned the power of 100 dead witches from - or something like that. Once he had talked her around to the idea of knowing what they were dealing with concerning Klaus, Jeremy told me that we could go round and look at them today. So I had spent my morning with Jeremy and Bonnie reading dusty old books, to no prevail as of yet.
"I don't think there is anything in here," Bonnie groaned and closed yet another book.
"Yeah, it was worth a shot but I don't think it's here, Becs," Jeremy sighed and closed his book.
"Okay, thank you for letting me look at these Bonnie," I looked at her and nodded. She nodded back and started packing the books away into the boxes that she'd brought them over to Jeremy's house in. She wanted to keep them in the witches house, but when I tried I couldn't get in there so we decided a better idea was to pack them up and bring them back here until we were done.
I flicked the page over in the book I was reading and saw the section title, stopping me dead in my tracks: The Sun and The Moon and the Curse Behind the Curtain. I scanned the page and saw the word hybrid all over it. I flicked through the next few pages and saw there was loads of information here. I looked up at Bonnie and Jeremy who were busy packing away the books, their backs to me. I closed the book and slid it under my jacket. "Hey guys, I'm sorry to leave you with all the boxes but Damon's just text me and wants to meet up to do some fight practise, are you alright if I leave you to it?"
"Sure, we'll see you later," Bonnie nodded.
"Give Damon and ass kicking from me," Jeremy laughed.
"Will do," I smirked and walked out of the door. Wow, I was getting really good at this lying thing now.
I walked out of the house and grinned to myself. I had my answers, all I needed to do now was find a safe place to read about them. It wasn't that I wanted to lie to Bonnie and Jeremy after they'd spent all morning helping me, but I needed to know what this book said before I told them anything. I needed to know that I could trust them and they weren't just going to use me for their own personal weapon against Klaus and then kill me. I felt like Damon was the only one I could trust and if he knew this information he would definitely use me against Klaus to save Elena. I could trust him, but he would use me and not give a damn about it.
I needed to find somewhere I was safe, somewhere no one knew about. I needed a hideout for my own protection. I walked around town, looking out for anywhere that would suit my needs when I saw a clothing shop with an apartment to rent above it. I walked into the store and inquired about the apartment, after a little bit of compulsion I had found my hideout. Having it above the clothing store only made it easier for my purposes, who could be suspicious of a girl shopping? I went up to the apartment and smiled as it was fully furnished already. I sat down on the sofa and opened the book to the section I wanted.
The Sun and the Moon Curse
The Sun and the Moon Curse is a cover story for the real curse behind the curtains of the hoax. The Sun and the Moon Curse is a curse that leaves werewolves slaves to the moon - meaning they can only turn on a full moon and have no control over their bodies - and leaving vampires slaves to the sun - meaning they can't go into sunlight without burning.
