"Welcome back to Chicago, Stefan," Klaus grinned as we stepped out of the car. I frowned, realising this is where Stefan was when he turned his humanity off before. I had been tailing him for years, until I found him here.
"What exactly are we doing here?" He asked.
"I know a witch here, if anyone knows what's going wrong with the hybrids then it will be her," Klaus said before glancing at me. "Well Becs seemed to know but is incapable of saying so."
"Sorry that my lack of control on my own body is an inconvenience to you," I rolled my eyes at him.
"Yes well, we'll soon have that fixed," Klaus grinned. "But first we'll go and see my witch friend, and then we'll deal with your inconveniences."
"I'm so glad you regard me so highly Klaus," I narrowed my eyes at him and walked off down the street.
"Where are you going?" He asked impatiently as he ran in front of me to stop me.
"You're going to see your witch friend with Stefan, and I'm going to go and find a drink," I rolled my eyes at him. It had been almost three days since I had fed and I was feeling it immensely. It almost felt as if I had turned my humanity off.
"Fine, but here's your phone. I'll call you when we're done," Klaus said before handing me my phone.
I narrowed my eyes as I scanned his face, "You're letting me have my phone back?"
"Yes, I think you've earned at least that much trust. Now take it before I change my mind," He said impatiently. I took the phone and walked off down the street.
I found a bar and walked inside, it was late and I knew there would be many drunkards by now. I smirked as I made it to the bar and ordered a shot of tequila - it was that kind of night. The man next to me looked delicious, and he was eyeing me up, "Make that two," He smirked at me, moving his hand around my waist.
"Two for me? You're so generous," I grinned at him and he chuckled.
"What's your name?" He asked, his speech slurred slightly as he swayed.
"What's yours?" I diverted the question.
"Liam," He smirked, leaning closer to me, his alcoholic breath burning my nostrils.
"Well Liam, how about we take these shots and get out of here?" I smirked at him. He grinned back before handing me a shot of tequila that was placed on the bar in front of us. We clinked glasses and downed the tequila before biting the lime slice that was also on the bar. I grabbed his hand and pulled him outside. I couldn't wait anymore. I needed him, I needed his blood. He was more than willing to follow me as I pulled him into an alleyway.
"You never told me your name," He smirked as he pushed me against the wall.
"No, I didn't," I smirked at him and inhaled his scent deeply. My throat burned as I stared in his eyes and began to compel him, "Now don't scream."
"I won't scream," He murmured. I grinned and plunged my canines into this throat. I hadn't fed on a human in years and it felt amazing. An image of my parents dying flashed into my head, but I pushed it away. The kill tasted too good.
I pulled back from his neck, grinning to myself as he flopped in my arms. "What are you?" He mumbled, his eyes rolling around in his head.
"Isn't it obvious?" I giggled, "I'm a vampire silly."
"W-What?" He stumbled backwards as I let him go.
"Oops, now you know I guess I have to kill you," I pouted innocently. I smirked at him and slowly walked after him as he ran down the alley in a panic, he stumbled and fell to the floor before scrambling to his feet again.
