"Elijah, tell her," I whined, pouting like a child. Elijah's eyes flickered between my pleading look and Rebekah's glare.
"Oh would you look at the time, I do believe I am supposed to be somewhere... that's not here..." Elijah said looking at his watch before standing up.
"It's your wedding too Elijah, just tell Becs that you want to turn up in a horse drawn carriage, remember how we used to have fun on them before cars were invented?" Rebekah tried to sweet talk her brother.
"No, Elijah, tell her that we are not turning up on a horse drawn carriage because it's mean on the poor horses and we want to turn up in a old fashioned car, and keep it traditional," I gave him a look that said if he didn't agree with me then there would be no wedding.
"Does it really matter how we turn up?" He asked, trying to keep the peace and not upset either of us.
"Elijah!" Rebekah and I both growled. "Of course it matters."
"Okay, it matters," He raised his hands into a surrendering position. "Can we just take a break from all this? We've been at it all morning."
"Elijah, it has to be perfect, it's your wedding day," Rebekah glared at her brother, wanting him to take it more seriously. After all, it was his choice to come with me to Rebekah's house, I said he didn't need to and would probably find it boring - which so far he had. Rebekah and I had bickered about almost everything so far. She wanted us to have a big, magnificent wedding, whereas I wanted a traditional, small wedding. Although, one thing we both agreed on was the big party afterwards. That was a must for any wedding.
"Elijah, you wanted to be here," I pointed out and Rebekah nodded.
"Well at least we've arrived at something you both agree on," He rolled his eyes at us. "Come on, just half an hour away from the mention of the wedding, I mean we've not even set a date yet."
"Well, let's do that now then," Rebekah said, pulling out her phone and opening the calendar app. "We need at least six months to get it planned to perfection."
"Six months?" Elijah frowned, "I was hoping it would be sooner than that."
"Aw," I cooed at his cuteness, before Rebekah sent us both a glare and I stopped.
"Six months," She said with such a fierce look that we both nodded with no more arguments. "Six months from now is... August?"
"August sounds good," We both nodded, there was no point in arguing with Rebekah anyway.
"And you want it to be a Saturday, so you could do the middle weekend of August?" She looked up at us both with expectation.
We both glanced at each other before shrugging and saying, "Sure, sounds like a wonderful weekend for our wedding."
"Great, now let's pick a location and we can get it booked," She said and Elijah sighed before sitting back down. Looks like he isn't going to get the half an hour break he wanted.
It took us an hour to give up on the location search, nowhere around here was good enough or fit any of our visions for the wedding. We decided to call it a day on the location search and finally Elijah was granted the break he wanted. I decided to head over to the Salvatore Boarding House to see Stefan and Damon.
"Hi," I smiled as I walked in, "You both alright?"
"Becs, where the hell did you go last night?" Stefan asked me.
"I got bored of you guys fighting over me so I went to Rebekah's," I shrugged. "I'm fine, don't worry."
"I've got you a present," Damon smirked, walking over to me.
