Di pa kami nakakalayo ni Jessey when she received a text from Mika asking us na bumalik for her.

She entered the car na sobrang maga ang mata.. Pareho kami ni Jessey na walang lakas ng loob to ask kung bakit. It was a very awkward and probably the longest trip from megamall to New Manila.

When we arrived sa condo, dumiretso si Mika sa room nya followed by her bestfriend while ako? Im stuck here clueless with what's happening.

After few moments my phone rang and it was Josh..

"Bro.. can we pls talk? Nandito ako sa lobby.."

I ended the call and agad na lumabas to meet him. I told him na sa may pool area nalang kami para di kami makita nila Jessey just in case bigla silang bumaba.

"Kiefer, im not here para manggulo. If you think na I'll ask for your help para makausap or mag explain sa kanya, that's not the reason bakit ako nandito."

"Josh wala akong alam sa nangyare or anong ginawa mo. Wala rin akong balak makielam because problem nyo ni Mika yan. Pero i just want to ask you.. Pano mo nakaya na paiyakin si Mika?"

"Im leaving tomorrow morning. I just made a choice, Bro. Its not my intention na saktan sya. I love her very much. Im not here to explain kasi I already did sa kanya.. Im here because gusto ko lang sabihin na alagaan mo sya."

"You dont have to ask me.. Gagawin ko talaga."

"I know.. You might not need this but gusto ko lang malaman mo na there will be times na magiging moody sya and you have to understand her. Wag mo sasabayan ang mood swings nya kung ayaw mo ng gulo. If she feels alone, scared or the world doesnt go her way, tell her na everything's going to be ok. If she's doubting herself, Tell her na she can do it and eventually she will. Matakaw sya, so wag ka magugulat if she'll invite you bigla kumain sa buffet kahit kakakain nyo lang ng lunch or what. Di mo naman need kumain all the time. Samahan mo lang sya is enough. Simple lang sya, di sya materialistic. Mas important sa kanya ang effort. Traditional, conservative and extraordinary sya she's not like other girls na need pa magpakita ng balat para gumanda. She's beautiful in her own simple way.. almost close to perfection. Bully sya so wag ka mapipikon pag natripan ka nya, she'll appreciate it more kung makikipagsabayan ka ng kulit sa kanya. Gusto nya may nakkwentuhan sya ng nangyare sa buong araw nya so listen to her stories. You dont know how much it means to her na may nakikinig sa kanya. She's sweet but she's not showy and you'll appreciate it na she values exclusivity. Ayaw nya ng PDA mas gusto nya yung may privacy kasi mas sincere and mas magiging focus kayo sa isa't isa. Madali lang pasayahin si Mika, but never ever hurt her kasi mahirap i-regain ang trust nya. She may pull off a tough image pero she's vulnerable. So do your best not to hurt her kasi you might not get another chance and minsan ka lang magkakaron ng girl like her sa buhay mo so alagaan mo syang mabuti."

"I dont get you. Bakit mo sinasabi sakin lahat yan?"

"Bro.. dalawa lang tayo dito? I dont know why you have to pretend but I hope you're not upto something na makakasakit kay Mika because Im telling you babalik ako dito para lang suntukin ka."

"I dont get you, Josh."

"Kiefer, stop this nonsense na. The first time I saw you alam ko na agad na you're not gay kasi the way you look at my girlfriend I mean, ex girlfriend alam ko na agad na you're attracted to her. I cant blame you kasi she's the most beautiful woman in the world."

"Haha! Pwede ba Josh san galing yan? May boyfriend ako!"

"Not cool, bro. Try harder. You can fool Mika pero not me. Ikaw na muna bahala sa kanya. I have to go. Goodluck"

So nagbreak pala sila kaya umiyak si Mika..

Yes, maganda si Mika, I really admire her. Attracted? May be. Do I like her? Im not sure. Hindi siguro ito yung right time to analyze kung may chance kami or kung gusto ko talaga sya. As of now, mas need nya ng friend kesa ng bantay-salakay/rebound boyfriend.

Pagbalik ko sa unit nagpaalam na rin si Jessey na aalis na sya, I told her na ihahatid ko sya but she asked me to stay na lang with Mika and kaya nya naman magcommute. As much as I want to ask about their girl-to-girl talk I decided not to nalang cause alam ko naman na she knows her better than I do. So I thank her nalang for comforting Mika and lead her to the door.

Its been a long day, nagllock na ko ng door when I saw an angel going down stairs holding a bottle of tequila, sniffing uncontrollably after her hard crying asking me if I could join her.

Its weird because she's just staring blankly, no talking just pure drinking. I dont even think na she likes to share what happened. So far, this is the most silent inuman I ever had.

We're halfway down a bottle when she suddenly said..

"B..

alam ko na yung rule no. 10

...bawal magsinungaling. Mas gusto ko maging brutally honest ka sakin kesa manloko ka. Dont hide things from me tapos magugulat ako may something na pala.. Wag ka gagaya kay Josh, ha B?"

Pano ba to...
