Chapter 62

Later that same evening we are all sat in my room while me and dad talk things over. After we arrived back from nonna's I'd retreated to my room and stayed there with my babies trying to come to terms with it all.

I couldn't understand why she had left me the most out of everyone. It just didn't seem fair. Maddox had stayed by my side trying to get me to talk though that was the last thing on my mind right now.

Eventually dad, Xeres and Ivan had entered my room and demanded to talk. So I'd complied.

Dad and Ivan both kind of knew of nonna's wishes as they'd taken her for her will redoing after I'd had the girls
They were pleased for me and so we Xeres.

I'd been stunned about the whole thing. Nonna had a large family and I'm sure done of the others could have used the money too. But dad told me not to worry about it.
He was still píssed at how Dante and Alicia had acted and to tell the truth so was I. I knew they both hated me and this was the straw that broke the camels back for the both of them now. There was no way back from this and to tell the truth I didn't really care. They were both waste of spaces and the only one I felt sorry for was Alicia's son. He was innocent in all of this and had to put up with her shít twenty-four-seven too.

Once I'd started feeling like myself again I decided to stop moping and get my ass into gear.
Giving the girls their dinners and bathing them after I felt myself relax just by doing the usual routine. Once they were safely in bed with Luke and Rhianne watching over them, with Ryan guarding I decided to go grab a quick shower in peace.
When I entered our bathroom I found Maddox already in there shaving and wearing nothing but a towel.

"Hey baby. I'll be done in a minute." He says while finishing up and I watch him through the mirror fascinated. Moving forward I wrap my arms around his waste, placing mu cheek against his back and just hug him close. He automatically turns round and I'm suddenly pressed up against his very warm, very muscular chest.

"What's wrong?" He asks as I stare up at him.

"Nothing." I assure him. "I'm just glad you're here."

"Me too, baby girl."

Standing on my tiptoes I pull his face down to mine and kiss him hungrily, letting everything that's bothering me wash away and just getting lost in the smell and taste and fell of him in my arms. He responds eagerly and it's not long before we're both naked and having fun in the shower.

Once we are done and I'm left panting against the tiles exhausted he helps me climb out and wraps me up in one of the comfy robes the hotel had provided.

"I love you, Bella." He whispers in my ear as he pulls me close and just holds me.

"I love you too, Maddox. So much."

"Come on, let's get you to bed. Fancy ordering room service and watching a movie?" He asks me grinning.

"Sounds like heaven right now." I reply smiling.
