Six months later.
"Hey Gabriel, Pam thanks so much for coming." I tell them as they enter. Pam hands me two large pink wrapped boxes smiling.
"For the birthday girls." She says smiling wider. "Where are they? I can't wait to see them again."
I laugh at her and motion behind me to the lounge where Xeres is keeping them entertained. She rushes off followed quickly by her two boys leaving Gabriel just stood there shaking his head.
"Come on in then." I tell him smiling. "Dad's out back manning the grill if you want to join him."
"Sure. Thanks Bella."
Closing the door after him I head into the lounge where everyone else is and smile widely at the sight that greets me. My baby girls are crawling all over poor Xeres who's laid on the floor happily laughing as they both attack him. He'd surprised me yesterday when he'd gone out and rented a clown suit of all things. I don't usually like clowns, but he looked adorable in it. Thankfully the girls weren't fussed about the outfit and loved it.
Me and Nonna - who'd finally come for a visit - had spent most of yesterday and today setting up everything for their party.
They really loved Peppa Pig at the minute, so I'd ordered party things online and had them delivered on time. Nonna had baked a cake for them too, I'd wanted to order one from the bakery in town I liked but she wouldn't hear of it.Maddox and me were stumped on what to buy our little angels for their special day and in the end we probably went overboard with what we ended up getting.
It's safe to say they won't be getting bored anytime soon, and their closets are fully kitted out for the next year or so, too.Nonno and Alicia had bought them both gold necklaces and the tiniest rings that I thought were adorable. (I wasn't even sure they made rings that small, but Alicia told me that they had them specially made.)
Nonna had bought them a unicorn rocking horse that's a little over the top - but I'd never tell her that.
Dad and the guys all chipped in and got them a bright pink electric car for them to play on. I didn't like the idea of it, it just didn't look safe to me, but they'd assured me it was perfectly fine. Maddox had promised to stay near to them at all times while they were in it too.
