The Mansion ☆☆☆

It took 4 months for us to get everything sorted enough for us all to be nearly ready to move to the U.S. Dad had connections, so him and my uncle's didnt have any problems getting a visa to move there.
Dad and Ivan went over to the States to view the mansion first, to make sure it really was as good as it advertised. They sent us photos, and I was honestly amazed by it, it really was everything that it said, and a whole lot more.

We agreed that we were buying it immediately, and that we'd all split the cost too, because we'd all be living there; it felt weird having money like that to spend, but the money I received from the divorce sure came in handy for something.

Dad and Ivan have been staying over there for the last month getting the place ready, and I ordered a lot -and I mean a lot- of furniture for the mansion online, and the guys set it all up once it got delivered. They also decorated the girls room, and arranged all their new furniture too; causing Xeres to pout because he couldn't do it himself.

I was leaving all the nursery furniture here for when I decided to visit in the future. Nonno, Alcia and Nonna all didn't want me and the guys to go, but they knew it was the safest thing possible for us, so they didn't bother trying to persuade me not to go.

Maddox has been staying at the house while dad and Ivan were gone, and between him and Xeres; along with the other large guards Maddox hires, me and the girls were constantly watched over.
I enjoyed spending time with Maddox, but I tried to keep a distance between us, not wanting to give him any false hope; though from the heated glances we keep giving each other it's pretty hard. We'd already talked about dating and I'd turned him down flat, and was determined to keep it that way until the girls were older. They were my first priority, and I wasn't anywhere near ready to risk my heart again, so while I enjoyed him being there, and liked the careful flirting, I tried to ignore my feelings and concentrate on my girls.

The girls were getting really big now, and they were such bubbly, happy babies, too. They hardly ever cry anymore, and are smiling more and more each day. They are my whole world and I'm so proud I have them each day, they make what happened with Ares a little better - because even though I hated his guts for what he'd done, without him I wouldn't have them, so my time loving Ares was sometimes worth the heartache- at least that's what I try to convince myself, anyway.

Ares is still causing trouble, and turning up at the estate at all hours demanding to see me and the girls, I was still very adamant on keeping him away; it might seem harsh, but he hadn't cared while I was pregnant, and he'd signed his rights away without a thought, now that he was regretting it, and I just didn't give a shit he could keep regretting, it wasn't going to get him seeing the girls anytime soon.

Nonno had ordered the gates surrounding the estate to be closed permanently, and only to be opened when one of us was leaving, making it harder, and near impossible for Ares to get passed them without one of the guards noticing him first.
So for the past two weeks we haven't heard a peep from him.

We are planning on leaving in two days time on Nonno's private jet, and I was nervous about travelling with the girls for the first time. Maddox, Xeres and a handful of guards were accompanying us so it wasn't all bad, and dad and Ivan promised to meet us off the jet as we landed, but I couldn't seem to stop being nervous over it.

Everything that we were taking had already been shipped over to Seattle, and the guys had already collected and put most of it away, so there wouldn't be too much for me to do when we got there.
They'd hired cleaners to come do the new place from top to bottom, and had painted most of it just how I wanted it, too. I'm not sure how they managed it all in so little time, but from the photos they keep emailing me, I fall in love with it more and more each day, it's my dream home and perfect for the girls.
