The initial plan was to post this on Monday or Tuesday but obviously things change.

One by one, everyone gets off of the bus that we drove all the way here in and it's already getting pretty dark outside and even a little bit chilly.
It's Friday night and I already can tell that our activities won't start until tomorrow since it's already so late, so Mr. Davis just tells us all to get a partner and set up a tent and that's who we'll be sleeping in the tent with.
Once he says that, people immediately start pairing up besides this one girl and the guy that she was sitting beside while on the bus. The two of them were sitting next to each other all the way at the back of the bus and when one of the chaperoning teachers went to the back of the bus in hopes of going to the bathroom, they were in for a rude awakening. The teacher walked to the back of the bus and witnessed a female student giving the male student top.
All hell broke loose at the back of the bus and I'm sure the two students were embarrassed, the girl especially, but you don't do shit like that on a bus full of people. Plus it's not even random people, it's school so that was just their screw up.
I partnered up with Carter and he told me to do something with these sticks, but I'm honestly confused. I hold the sticks up just looking at them trying to consider the possibilities of what I can do with them when Carter snatches the sticks from out of my hands.
"Man, gimme that."
"I was trying!" I plead. "I just don't do nature."
For example, why can't animals in nature just be pets? Everyone's already used to em so seeing them wouldn't cause a heart attack like seeing a bear or something.
Carter ignores me while trying to read the directions so I look around at what everyone else's tents are looking like and I don't feel so bad.
Most groups are struggling just as much as we are while it's a nice and simple task for others.
With a little while longer of trial and error, Carter finally gets it up and the two of us observe it.

"You sure this won't fall?" I asks while shaking the tent to see how sturdy it is. I'm going to be upset if the both of us gets in it and then it just comes tumbling down.
"As long as you don't touch it like that we should be fine!" He responds pulling my hand away from the tent. "Just get in, Layla," he says while unzipping the tent for me to get in but before I can, our gym teacher comes to us.
