"So he pretty much said that he can't see himself with someone like me because I don't respect myself enough. He said that he doesn't wanna be with someone who agrees with everything he says," Gigi explains to Allie and I.

I nod my head in understanding because that makes a lot of sense. Well, its actually logic. What guy wants a girl that's gonna let him run all over them? That's the kind of chick that a fuckboy typically looks for, but it just so happens that they always try the wrong girls and then they get cut off.

"Maybe Chris was right," I speak up. "Maybe you shouldn't have made yourself seem so available or desperate for him."

Personally, I wouldn't even bother wasting my time with a guy okay with that, so I'm not exactly sure why Gigi pretty much signed herself up for that when Chris wasn't even forcing that on her.

After a moment of silence, she argues, "I just wanted him to like me just as much as I liked him. I don't know... Where did I go wrong?"

She went wrong with not respecting herself, but I'm going to prevent myself from saying that since I know for sure that that will hurt her feelings. Even though it's a fact, putting it that way it would be the cold, hard truth.

So in a nicer way, I explain to her what I was thinking. "No guy wants someone that agrees with everything that they ask of them. No normal guy at least. You gotta have at least a little heart, ya know?"

Once again, Gigi pauses before saying anything back. "Well I guess that I could understand it when you put it like that, but what I don't understand is isn't that being bitchy I guess? Sometimes arguing and going back and forth isn't necessary."

I nod my head completely understanding that but that only makes me further explain what I just said. "You can't push it too far, but sometimes you've got to just to let them know you aren't just some stick that they can toss around. Guys need to understand that and I'm pretty sure Chris is one of very few that get that early. The only way they'll learn is if we let em know that."

I attempt to read her face to see if she understand what I'm saying and she looks half and half.

"Do you understand or...?"

"Not really," Gigi frowns which makes Allie chuckle and I shake my head.

"What she's trying to say is most boys our age would jump at the chance to have a girl that does whatever they want which is why we usually always have a guard up- to change that and make them change their expectations. Guys like Chris already know how a lady should truly present herself which would be with standards and morals. Respect yourself pretty much," Allie reiterates what I previously said and it makes more sense actually.

Right after Allie finishes, Gigi nods her head in understanding. "I get it," she states and that makes me wish that I said what I was thinking before. Trying to have a filter made explaining something more difficult and I should've just said it, but just in the nicest way possible.

"Ya know..." Gianna trails off. "Even though I liked Chris a lot.. I'm gonna try getting over him."

"I completely agree with that," I agree honestly. Thankfully the two of them did not last long enough for her to start getting strong feelings. That was most definitely a plus side.

"So you said that the trip went well?" My mother asks.

"It was fine," I let her know, but she would not be Joyce if she didn't press for me to further explain why in detail.
