Layla Wilkes
This entire week went by like any other week- a complete drag and now I have a soccer game then starting Monday, I'm going to need to make my classes and studies my top priority.
It already is important to me, but I have always managed to make its importance equivalent to soccer and in recent months, to my relationship, but midterms are next week. Meaning, another headache is right around the corner.
It's always something...
Now for my game today, I guess I feel prepared, but the fact that I can't even speak to Chris before and possibly after the game puts me in not the best mood.
~During The Game~
Unlike usual, our team is down two goals and a lot of pressure's on us to score in order to at least get a tie.
Our coach raised his voice at us as our team and the opposing team continues going back and forth with who has the ball.
It's like none of us were on our A-game today.
Only one person, who usually is a team player, is playing like herself today and guess who it just so happens to be?
Gianna.
That day last week when she left Allie's house still hasn't been discussed between us and honestly, I don't even know if we're friends anymore.
It doesn't even feel like we're teammates right now.
Christopher Brown
It was real timid on our side of the bleachers since the girls haven't scored since the first ten minutes of the game and the game will be over in fifteen.
In literally every game, majority of the team does something, but today it's like more than half of their minds are somewhere else.
Most of the game, Gianna did most of the footwork. She was the one stealing the ball from the girls on the other team, but where she was screwing up at was she wouldn't kick the ball to those who usually do the scoring including Layla and this girl Esther who scores most games.
Gianna doesn't usually hog the ball like she's doing right now and maybe if she would've actually worked with her team they wouldn't have just lost the game.
Fuck.
We watch as they shake hands with the other team with most of them having pouts on their faces before they go to speak with their coach.
"You see this why Ion fuck with Gigi like that now," Jaylen speaks as we head down the stairs of the bleachers.
"Man, shut up. She couldn't win the game
by herself," Brandon speaks up for her which makes me add my two cents in as well."She can't win the game without actually giving somebody else a chance with the ball either," I comment.
Maybe if everyone got the chances that they usually have with the ball, they could have won, but I don't know.
All I do know is that I'm not beat for Layla to be having an attitude because they loss. She considers ties a loss so I know an actual loss is gonna get to her.
