Please do not get me wrong- I do like Chris. I wasn't sure about it at first but with people constantly bringing it up made me think about the possibilities. First, I thought about the friendship that we've developed in such little time. I know a lot about him and vice versa, even though it isn't enough to be together right now. Plus, we pretty much have become best friends. I still have Carter though, let's not forget and he pisses me off to the max sometimes but I wouldn't trade him in for anything.
Second, I pointed out that Chris is a good guy. He doesn't hop from girl to girl which is surprising considering the fact that so many are on him. His social media is crazy and even in school girls can be so thirsty. He doesn't really feed into it though.
Then... he's really really cute. That was never even something to question. Plus he's tall so it's just.. yeah.
The only thing that made me ask him to keep everything to himself for now is because I don't want for Gigi to feel some kinda way. She said that she wouldn't but I know how she can be.
Gianna's really indecisive sometimes and doesn't know how to feel about certain things. One day she'll be ranting about a guy to me and Allie and then the next she's crying saying she wants him back.
She's not a dumb girl and she's not a hoe, but she just doesn't know how to play her cards right especially when it comes to guys.
It's lunch time right now and we're in the cafeteria. Usually I'm sandwiched between Chris and either Allie or Gigi depending on if Gianna sits with us, but today Gigi was with other friends and he sat away from me. I can tell that he's upset at me. He's been ignoring me all day, but he didn't even give me the chance to explain to him my logic.
"I gotta go to Mr. Jenkins' ugly ass again," Brandon complained as he stood up from the table and picked up his empty can of soda and bag of chips.
"Have fun nigga!" Jaylen laughs at him which makes Brandon throw the can at him before strolling off from our table and out of the cafeteria.
"Why does he go to him again?" Allie asks then puts a French fry in her mouth. I grab one too from her tray which makes her pluck my hand.
This girl really does not play when it comes to food.
"He said his grade been going down in his class so he got remediation at lunch now," Dominic explains.
"I told him not to take Mr. Jenkins but nobody listens to me," Chris comments while looking down at his phone and from across the table I can see that he is scrolling down on his Instagram timeline.
"He'll live," Jaylen laughs again and for the remainder of lunch we talk about stupid stuff honestly until the bell signaling two minutes til our next class starts rings.
"Man I'm not with this eight to three shit. I'm sick of sitting up in this school everyday damn day," Jaylen huffs once we head to the door to leave.
"We have like 6 months left. You can pull through," I tell him. We've dealt with it for three years already. He can make it through a couple more.
"Ion know about allat," he shakes his head. "But I gotta blast. I got Ms. Ball next."
"I still don't get why her last name's Ball when she's Puerto Rican teaching Spanish classes," Dom says.
