Chapter 12: May I have this dance Hailey?

~Hailey’s POV~

I managed to get through the next few days withought much attention drawn towards me and my new hair color. But tonight Trevor and Sam were dragging me along to some YouTube event. I tired to refuse but Trevor reminded me I was a Youtuber. So, I couldn’t refuse. Trevor said I had to wear a dress to the event so he’s dragging me to the Mall with Ricky so we can find something. This should be fun....

~Later on~

“Hailey for god’s sake just pick one!” Ricky yelled for the 10th time.

“I hate you and dresses” I called back.

“Oooh dude” Trevor laughed.

“Shut up Trevor, Hailey please let’s go” Ricky impatiently called.

“Alright, I think I found one. No laughing, I don’t normally wear dresses alright?” I called from behind the dressing room door.

“Okay just c’mon” Ricky said, as he tapped his food.

I took a deep breath as I opened the door, and crept out shutting it behind me. “Well? What do you think?” I asked, as I did a little twirl.

“YES! That’s it!” Trevor screamed, as he startled both Ricky and I.

“Jesus Trevor!” Ricky flinched as he covered his ears.

“Ricky? What do you think?” I whispered.

“You look great Hailey, can change so we can go get it and then get some frozen yogurt or something” Ricky smiled.

“Alright” I smiled, as I went to go change. “Hurry, Connor’s probably worried.” Trevor reminded me, right before I came out. Ricky looked up from his iPhone. “Alright let’s head back”

We entered the house quietly; we made a run for the stairs when Connor’s voice stopped us.

“That took forever” Connor said. We froze in our place and turned to Connor to find Sam, Kian and Jc with him as well.

“I blame the girl” Ricky pointed to me.

“Excuse me?” I spat at him, as i furrowed my eyebrows.

“Hey don’t blame Hailey” Trevor stood up for me.

“Thank you” I smiled, as I gave him a quick hug, as I glared at Ricky.

“Whatever we’re home now” Trevor said.

“Just get ready” Connor muttered before he ran upstairs.

“Rude” I muttered, so only Ricky and Trevor could hear me.

I looked at myself in the mirror, as I grabbed my necklace and put it on. I sighed, as I grabbed my jacket and iPhone. I looked down at my feet, as Sam and Trevor walked into my room.

“You look good Hailey, ok?” Sam assured me.

“Thanks Sam” I smiled.

“Shall we lead you downstairs?” Trevor asked, as he held out his head. I nodded and smiled, as I took his hand.

“You guys look very handsome” I complimented, as we made our way downstairs.

“Where are the other boys?” Sam asked.

“Already left, now c’mon” Ricky said as we made our way towards his car.

“Let’s hope this is fun” I mumbled, as I sat in the back with Trevor while Sam sat up front with Ricky.

“It will” Ricky promised.

“We’re here, finally” Sam cheered.

“Kian texted me, they’re outside, in the back. So, what should we do?” Trevor asked, as we made our way into the building.

“I’m thirsty” I said, as Sam nodded with me.

“Me too, C’mon Hailey let’s get a drink” Sam agreed, as he pulled me away from Ricky and Trevor.

~Jc’s POV~

Kian, Connor and I were outside talking and laughing until Kian’s phone vibrated. “Oh, they’re finally here, Ricky just texted me that they just walked in”

“Let’s go find them” Connor suggested as we walked inside to the dance floor. I immediately found Trevor, Sam and Hailey. God Hailey looked really beautiful in her dress. She looked so beautiful. I saw Ricky walk up to them and handed her a drink, as she smiled up at him and nodded, as he asked her something.

“They’re they are” I nodded to Kian and Connor, as we could hear Hailey’s laugh in the distance as Sam cracked a smirk and Trevor and Ricky laughed as well.

A few hours had passed, and Ricky went to go talk to Connor and Kian left to find Sam, where Trevor was somewhere on the dance floor. I noticed Hailey standing there alone; I sighed and walked up to her as she leaned on the wall.

“Hey” I smiled, as I walked up to her.

“Hey” She smiled back, God I wanted to kiss her right there.

“Dance with me” I blurted out.

“Excuse me?” She asked as she choked a little on her drink.

“Dance with me” I repeated.

“Oh Jc, I don’t know…” She started.

“Please Hailey, dance with me?” I asked.

“Jc” She mumbled.

“Please, may I have this dance Hailey?” I asked her as I looked her right in her beautiful eyes.

“I-”She started.

“One dance” I whispered, as I smiled at her.

She sighed and looked at me. “May I?” I asked her, as I held my hand waiting for her answer.

Please Hailey, please…. Just take me hand. I may be falling for  you, just take my hand?

I hate the beginning of this chapter, so hopefully then end will make up for it.
