Chapter 32: You know me?

~Hailey's POV~

"slow down i can't keep up!"

"well hurry Peyton, i'm hungry"

"no, i'll catch up i have to use the bathroom anyway" she sighed, as she walked past me.

i sighed and closed my eyes fro a moment. "No, alright... fine, no of course i do.... are you serious? i would never jump to that conclusion... fine... okay whatever" 

i turned to my right to find a young brunette girl arguing with someone on the phone. i sighed and sat next to her on the bench waiting for Peyton. I didn't know how long she'd be.

it was a Friday afternoon and we were spending the day at the mall to shop for a few things for Peyton's little girl that was coming in less than 6 months. and as much as i love her she can be a little impatient and moody right now. so when she walked off to the bathroom i had a chance to sit down and collect my thoughts.

 "listen to me, i wasn't thinking that okay, it's just how am i supposed to trust you when you're on the other side of the country?!"  i almost forgot about the girl sitting next to me. i wasn't trying to be nosy but she was sorta yelling into her phone and she was sitting next to me.

"boyfriend troubles?" I mumbled.

she looked over to me, "how did you know?" she asked.

oh shit, did i say that out loud?!

"um, my boyfriend he's on the other side of the country as well, i can get how you're feeling"

"hello babe, you still there?" i heard a male voice call from her iPhone.

"um, i'd have to take a rain check... i think i just met a new friend" she smiled before hanging up before he could answer.

"does your boyfriend travel a lot?" she asked, as she turned to me.

"it feels like it, but no not really i guess" i shrugged.

 "oh well mine does, and i guess i'm not quite used to it yet"

"why does he travel a lot?" i asked.

"oh, he's a Youtuber... he travels to meet his fans and i guess i'm proud of him for being so popular, i just miss him sometimes"

"yeah i know exactly how you feel"

"it's hard being alone for so long, not having him there? do you know the feeling?" she asked me.

"yeah and you're trying to be happy for all of his success but inside you just wished he never got so popular. but yet you can't be mad at him either because he's so happy" I added.

"yeah" she nodded.

"i'm Hailey" i nodded.

"are you by chance, Connor Franta's little sister?" she asked.

"you know me?" I asked.

"i do, my boyfriend... he talks about you"

"your boyfriend knows me?"

"i do" she nodded.

so, i'm like tired, i don't know. sorry these chapters take forever it's just some days i'm not in the mood, or like i don't know what to write.

sorry, see you soon hopefully. i'm also sorry that these chapters are getting shorter, i just really wanna be done with school already. honestly you don't know how annoying it is to go to a place that gives me so much anxiety. i'm scared of school and the people that go there. anyway see you guys soon.
