Chapter 20: Friends don't fight

Hi guys; before i start this chapter. I need to say something. I feel like most of you are being too easy on me with the comments. I appreciate all of the comments and votes I do. But please tell me if there is anything i could improve. I know there are few spelling mistakes here and there i know that. But if you can think of any more suggestions that will help me become a better writer then please don't hold back. That is one of the main reasons why I made a Wattpad in the first place. To increase my writing skills; and share my stories and creative ideas with all of you. So; since that is out of the way... Enjoy chapter 20. Can you believe it? 20 chapters already? I remember writing this prologue thinking no one will read this.. Haha, enjoy guys :)

~Peyton's POV~

"I never thought I'd see you again" I whispered.

"You made it; we made it. We're okay" Hailey whispered into my hair.

"Can someone please tell me what's going on? How do you two know each other? Not because it bothers me or anything, I'm just curious?" Kian asked

"My dear cousin; we knew each other awhile back okay? Hailey? Do you want to tell the boys on how we met? Or would you like me too?" I whispered, as I pulled away from Hailey and turned towards my cousin, Kian.

 "It was a long time ago, we uh met at a summer camp a few years go. We were 12. My mom; was picking us up and driving us home; when we got rear ended. Peyton got hit really hard my mom and I were okay. But we got separated from Peyton. I always wondered what happened to her. Did you survive? Did she manage to recover from the blow? But now, I know." Hailey nodded.

"Oh, Hailey there's uh something I need to tell you" I stuttered.

"Yes?" She asked, as she turned to me smiling.

Now, how would i break the news to her... She's so happy... I can't do this... Not now. They're all so happy right now. How could i possibly tell Kian and Hailey now..

"Well are you going to tell her or...?" Kian started.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her into the house then upstairs to the hallway. "Woah Pey, are you okay?" She asked, as i tugged her to the end of the hallway and on to the balcony looking over the backyard.

"No, I am not. Look,I came her for a reason. I'm glad I got to see you again, but I came to ask Kian a favor and I'm glad you were here but it's distracting me on why I'm really here" I sighed, as i leaned my head over the railing.

"What are you talking about?" She asked me.

"It's not easy to say this, but I'm going too" I started.

"So, what do you think they're talking about?" Trevor asked, as he tried to break the silence of the six boys waiting for the two girls to return.

"Could be anything... They are girls" Sam suggested.

"Yes, that may be true... But it did seem serious" Jc added.

"What could be that serious? We're cousins... She'd tell me if something was bothering her" Kian defended.

"What if it was something girl related?" Ricky asked.

"Guys, just leave it... It's none of out business" Connor projected.

"Connor, she's my cousin, of course, I'm a little worried"

"And Hailey is my sister" Connor shot back.

"Guys please, no fighting if Hailey was here she'd be upset" Trevor tried to intervein.

"No!" Kian shouted, as he got up and pushed Connor.

~Hailey's POV~

"What are you talking about?" I asked her.

"I'm trying to tell you that... I ur well..."

"Yes Peyton?"

"I'm-" She started.

"No!" Kian yelled, as he pushed Connor.

"Omg, Peyton just hold on. I got this" I whispered, as I ran down the stairs and outside.

"HEY!" I yelled, at the two boys as they began fighting.

"Hailey don't" Ricky protested as he held his arm in front of me.

"HEY!" I yelled louder at them. 

"Hailey, just go upstairs, we don't want you to get hurt" Jc nodded, with Ricky.

"STOP IT!" I yelled, as i pushed past Ricky and grabbed Kian's shoulder.

"Hailey I wouldn't if i were you... Kian; he can be a tad-" Trevor started, as Kian smacked his shoulder up hitting me on the left side of my face.

"Aggressive" Trevor finished.

I took a few steps away from the two fighting boys, oblivious of what just happened, as the four other boys stopped talking and just gasped. Jc walked over to me, and touched the left side of my face.

"He hit her. Kian..." He gasped. "The bruise is starting to form" He added.

"OH MY GOD!" Sam screamed, as he went to attack Kian, but Ricky stopped him before he could.

"YOU BITCH KIAN!" Sam screamed, as the two boys stopped fighting and turned to the boys and Hailey.

"Wait what's going on?" Connor asked.

"I'LL TELL YOU WHAT'S GOING ON!" Sam yelled, as Ricky held him back.

"Hailey? What's wrong, you look like you're going to cry?" Kian asked, as he walked towards me.

"I'll be upstairs if any of you need me" I grunted, as I ran back inside. I could hear them talking more, as i rounded the corner and continued to listen.

"What happened?" Connor asked.

"Kian hit Hailey in the face with his elbow" Ricky explained.

"I did?!" Kian asked shocked.

"No, you gave her a hug and ran through a flower patch with her... YES YOU ASSHOLE YOU HIT HER" Sam yelled sarcastically.

"I DIDN'T MEAN TOO" Kian yelled.

"Don't talk to me!" Sam started, as he walked in another direction.

I raced back up the stairs to find Peyton watching the scene from the balcony.

"I thought you said you had it?" She asked.

"What were you going to tell me?" I ignored her question.

"Right, this is hard for me.. But i know you can handle it, that's why I'm telling you first not Kian" She smiled softly, as she grabbed my hand.

"What is it?" I asked.

She looked down and smiled, at our hands. "I'm pregnant"

OOH SNAPZ, now I know... We don't know Peyton's character that well... But the next few chapters will learn more about her ok?
