Chapter 10: Sibling Arguements and a Secret Sleepover

~His POV~ *His identity will be revealed later ;) *

I was startled when I heard someone jump into my car; I turned only to find Hailey. I sighed in relief. It was only her. I know it’s wrong, that she hasn’t told Connor about our friendship, I think he should know even if he’ll be mad. He needs to know where his little sister runs off too.

“Hailey?” I asked.

“Hmm?” She asked, turning her attention to me.

“You need to tell Connor” I sighed.

“I know… But he hates you ever since…. What happened?” She trailed off.

“I left for my own reasons; I guess Connor and the boys never got over it. But it happened a long time ago” I sighed.

“Oh” She whispered.

“Don’t worry, if you’re nervous I’ll be there when you tell him” I assured.

“But, that might cause a riot” She sighed.

“It’ll be worth it, okay?” I assured again.

“Let’s just get this over with… Alright?”

I nodded, as I walked out of my car, with Hailey behind me. I pulled out my keys and locked my car, as she grabbed hold of my hand.

“Don’t be nervous, Connor has no effect over our friendship. It’s your life Hailey. If you want to hang out with me then he shouldn’t be able to stop you” I whispered.

“Just don’t get into any fights” She whispered, as she gripped my hand tightly as we started walking back to her house.

“Are you coming inside?” She asked.

“No, I think that wouldn’t be a good idea. I walk you to the door, and say good-bye. I don’t want to start a riot in your house. It’ll be okay. I’ll back off if he wants me too”

“Okay, just don’t make a too big of a scene and make it quick, the boys are everywhere one of them is bound to see you” She whispered, as we turned on her street.

“I promise it’ll be quick”

“Alright, we’re here” She softly whispered, as we stood in front of her house, as he gripped onto my hand.

“Breathe” I whispered, as she led me to her porch.

She stopped walking and turned to face me, as she held both of my hands; she looked up into my eyes.

“I’m sorry for what’s about to happen, Connor has a bad temper. Just know, I apologize for his behavior towards you. I apologize for all of the boys; they don’t mean they’re just upset.” She sighed, as she hung her head low.

“Don’t be, we’ve had out issues, but it’ll be okay. I’ll be fine” I assured, as she lifted her head and smiled at me.

“HAILEY” A voice screamed from inside the house, Hailey and I both knew it was Connor.

“I should go..” She whispered.

“I know good luck in there” I smiled, as she returned a smile before running inside.

I sighed and made my way down the steps of her porch, when the door behind me opened. She came running out again and kissed my cheek. “Thank you for caring about me” She whispered.
